I reserved a court for volleyball practice. I paid, my court was reserved, and I was kicked off the court when I arrived because another team had it reserved. I did not argue, but I KINDLY reached out to the owner, *****. She explained that she had a death in the family and made a mistake. I gave my condolences and asked for a refund. I also asked for a complimentary hour due to the inconvenience of driving over there & being kicked off of the court I reserved and paid for. She admitted to reserving the court for the other team, but not blocking it off the availability online. But it appeared to me that she did not want to make up for her error. Our time was wasted traveling to the gym for no reason due to her error. The texts from ***** became aggressive and unprofessional. The problem became personal and I was no longer being treated like a customer. I would like the ******************** to step in and assist her with a business professional approach to resolve this matter. I do not feel comfortable communicating with the owner. I believe I deserve a refund and compensation for traveling to the business for my court time and being kicked off since it was double-booked.I do not want an hour of complimentary court time because I no longer want to do business with the owner.

I refunded the customer's rental fee.  In her initial email to me she suggested that I "throw in an extra hour" due to the error.  I explained that my mother had died on Tuesday and apologized for my error.  The customer did not feel that the death of my mother was a valid excuse for any errors.

The customer was the one who became aggressive suggesting I was not running my business correctly.  I informed her that if she insisted on an hour of free court time, then I would expect her to follow the rules of the court and leave promptly when her hour was over, pick up the volleyballs she used and return net to the height she found it.  She suggested that my request for her to follow the rules indicated I was targeting her. Weird.  After the email exchange with her, I do not want her as a customer.  I hope she finds happiness and perfection at someone else's volleyball gym.
