On or around 9/1/2021 I reached out to patient billing at Westover Hills Hospital Rehab Westover Hills to ask them to correct the billing error. I met with the accounting rep in person. She assured me that it had been taken care of via the third party billing office. On 11/1/21 I hand delivered a letter to express my frustration that I was still receiving invoices even though I was paying at each encounter. I was assured again that the billing office was working on the error and that I was owed at$100.00 credit. I did not hear anything back so again I tried reaching out to Warm Springs Rehab Hospital Westover Hills to find out status. I was told that there was now another person working the desk and she knew nothing about it. I started my requests all over again. By this time the third party is threatening to place me on collections so I paid an invoice of $46.00 even though I explained to them that it was in error and that I was owed a $100.00 credit. ( I also explained to them that there were some appointments in question as my therapist ***** was sick and I was not notified so I made a wasted trip. I was not seen that day. There may have been some other visits charged to me whereby I was not seen). I am requesting that Warm Springs Rehab Hospital Westover Hills ***********, refund me the $46.00 payment I made due to threats from the third party billing company. In fact, I should never have been billed as I was paid in full both by me and my insurance company. PLEASE ASSIST ME IN GETTING MY REFUND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THIS MATTER HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH.
