Friday September ******* I was at seguin Chevrolet to purchase a new vehicle, I was supposed to meet with **** **** but since he was working with other people he passed us on to ******* ***** and she was in charge for the most part of the deal. We had agreed on a final price but after looking at my contract I see that the amount of $3755 were added to the price, I visited the dealership today 9/16/24 to see if they could renegotiate with me or remove charge but they refused. I met with **** ****, ******* **** and one of the finance advisors, I told them the situation and **** kept saying that they always mention these charges when negotiating but assured him that ******* did not and she even admitted to not having informed me of that charge in front of all of us that were there at the moment. They know they were wrong but they still dont want to work anything out with me to resolve this matter. I told them since the beginning that I wanted to stay below $70,000 and with the charges they added it makes it over $74,000. I feel scammed and they know they are at fault.Business response

We have already responded to the customers complaint to the State of Texas. As we explained to the State of Texas. The items were optional. They were disclosed upfront 3 times. They were disclosed on the purchased order that customer signed as optional. They were displayed on multiple other papers as optional. It is disclosed on the purchase order sent to the BBB as optional and the customer signed that paper. I don't know what more we can do than disclose it on 10+ pieces of paperwork that the customer signed. The customer negotiated a significant discount and an increase in her trade value. She cannot claim she did not see the optional accessories when she negotiated all other aspects of the deal.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not the only person theyve done this to. We were told that they were gonna respect the website price that we had seen and no where in the contract is that price. Yes we did sign trusting their word, and they know ******* was at wrong for not fully explaining the other charges. We had negative equity and thats why we thought our final price was high not because of the optional package they never explained to us.

On May 15, 2024 I contacted your location and spoke with ***** and I informed her I wanted to buy the vehicle vin # ***************** priced online at $41,000. She quickly said it was available and so I asked for the total with TT&L. She said she would get back with me shortly with the information. A short time later she informed me that her manager said the vehicle was sold. I didn’t think anything about it. In the upcoming days ***** continued following up with me to see if there was anything else I was interested. I would let her know the vehicle and same sale price I was looking for. On Friday May 24 (see attached) she sent me the same truck at a higher price stated prices were updated. When asked why the price increase, she said manufacture rebates expired. To my knowledge manufactured rebates are good for the entire month, they usually don’t change mid month. I asked ***** if they could honor the previous price since I was told it was sold when I was ready to buy. She said no and I ask for the mangers information. ***** (******** of new cars sales) called and said he will try to get me that price and he would contacted me on Monday May 27, 2024. He never contacted me. After numerous attempts of me calling him, texting, and leaving messages with no return calls I emailed ****** (******* *******) on May 30, 2024. ****** responded and stated he was out of the office but he would contacted my May 31, 2024. He never did. I called numerous times with no return call. On May 30th they put a similar advertising online with the exact same truck (vin # matched) at a lower price $39,245. When I reached out they said it was available when they sent me the price sheet it was at $40,245 plus $2995 in add on. When asked if they could remove them Ivaris (salesperson)said no they were already installed. When asked for the manager she said the vehicle was already being sold. Same vehicle same deceptive practices. I did email the owners ** ****** and ** **** with no response.Business response

I offered customer to buy any vehicle in stock for the advertised price but stated that he needed to come in person. ***** and Luisa are not salespeople and were relaying information from the sales managers who were actively selling the vehicle he wanted to a customer in our showroom. We have no reason to tell him it's sold when it's here as long as it is actually available. We have hundreds of trucks discounted similarly online so it's nothing special or exclusive that we can't do on others. We don't tell them a vehicle is available if someone is actively trying to buy it. All this time arguing, he could've come in and bought any of the trucks in question.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: ** **** has never made an offer to match the price on a different vehicle with the same features. So just to clarify, you are offering a truck with the same features at $39,250 advertised price (MSRP $57,660) 31.91% off MSRP? If so I will be at your dealer in person.I apologize your are seeing this as an argument, I just simply would like the ADVERTISED PRICE and insure these tactics are not the normal practices. As a reminder the exact same situation happen twice with the exact same vehicle (matching vin #’s). It’s extremely difficult not to see these situations as bait and switch. Just simply put your self in my shoes for a minute and how you would see these tactics from my point of view.

So I scheduled an appointment to have windshield wipers modem replaced for a recall. When I called they said that they will need my vehicle for 2 days to replace the modem. They said that they would check if they had the parts if not they would order them so when I went in they would have everything ready to go. So made arrangements to get this done. I took days off of work to have it done. Cause I knew I would not have a vehicle for 2 days. So the day of the appointment I took it in and they check to see if they had the parts and they did not have them. They said that they would order them and it would take 7 to 10 days to get the parts. So I lost time and money because of this and now I have no windshield wipers. This is a recall by the ************** They know about this recall why not keep these parts in stock and on top of that why tell me they will order the parts when I call but never order anything. They told me that they needed the vehicle there so they could connect ODM to get the vehicle information. If they would told me that from the beginning I would have gladly taken the vehicle in had them connect so I could get this done. I work right next to the dealership everyday.Business response

Theres a truck on our website now for $13000 off. We did sell the stock number listed in the tv ads but we update the truck thats available as we sell them on the website. Id be happy to send you the next truck thats available. Its difficult to have an unlimited supply of specials. Every business and industry usually limits specials to limited availability of stock. I am rejecting this response because. they are misleading the public by advertising a $13k discount when their answer is always going to be "we sold that truck already." They are truly not willing to provide a $13k discount. They just want to get the customer in the door and trick them into buying a more expensive vehicle and a lower model for the same price.

I recently purchased a used car from this dealership. Upon signing the paperwork for the car, the salesman (**************) told us that there in fact was a quality service that is done to all vehicles that is not an option. This included a clear coat protector from head to toe on the car. A UV protectant widow tint. Nitrogen filled tires. Locking lug nuts, And a few other things. Again this is not an option, yet the paper I signed had a place for refusal of this option. I asked yet again. Was told it had already been done to this vehicle as every vehicle on the lot has this done prior to being out on the lot. NONE OF THE THINGS I PAID FOR (which I would have refused) HAD BEEN DONE TO THE **** I called the salesman and asked, he said they must have forgotten to do our car. We paid over $2500 for this (non option) as it was already been done (according to the salesman). We took the car back to the dealership. They claim to have now done the window tint, which we were told was on every window. Yet ours does not have it on the windshield. They think they put the clear coat protector on it, as there was an empty box. No record of doing any of the listed upgrades. But they think they did them. I wish to have the upgrades that they told me were done and I also paid $2500+ for done. Not we think its done. I also would like the $2500+ back as this c*** has not been done and I paid for it. Also, the paperwork for said upgrades were not included in the sales paperwork. As far as the mandatory list and costs.Initial Complaint

For the past few weeks the car I've purchased has died on a number of occasions. Every time it's died a service message came up on the dash wither that say Stabilitrack, airbags, or power steering needs to be checked. Have also found one of their tools they use to work on cars under the hood. Called the dealership on multiple occasions and was told to come by on a different day (even with safety being an issue). On February 15, 2023; was driving in ****** and the car broke done in traffic. Called the dealership and was told they would send a tow truck to get the car; which never happened. Then that night the dealership called my personal number and told me to being the car to the dealership and they would look at it and send a tow truck to get the car to Seguin, get the car looked at, and give me a loaner car so I can go to work; the worker I spoke to also gave me his personal phone number so I could text him in the morning. The next morning of the 16th, I called to make sure about details to find out that I was lied to about the tow truck (which I had to pay out of pocket). When I got to the dealership I was then lied to again about a loaner car. I was told I had to be 25 to get one. When they asked the person I spoke with on the phone he denied saying he promised all those things.Business response

I found out a new auto loan had been opened using my name and social security number on October 6, 2022. I saw three alerts for new inquiries on my credit report for different auto lenders. I never approved or knew anything about this new vehicle that was purchased. I called gm financial since thats where I saw the loan had been financed with and they told me to file a police report which I did and to file a fraud ID affidavit packet for GM financial. I found out the loan had been opened at the same dealership where I had purchased my own truck in March 2022 at Seguin Chevrolet. I immediately thought that someone had taken my info and used it at the dealership hoping that I wouldnt notice. After I filed the police report with the Comal ************************** the detective working my case called me back after he spoke with the dealership and said that the dealership made an error that when they put the customers name, since we have the same name, they clicked on my info without verifying anything with the actual purchaser. Even though they said its and error and that it would be corrected within the week its still a MAJOR error that shouldnt have happened in the first place. This has caused so much stress and has affected my credit on many levels. The detective told me to call the finance manager ********************* at Seguin Chevrolet so I did and it seemed like this error wasnt even a big deal since they were working to fixing it. I think they work to get so many customers in and out of the dealership that they dont even take the time to verify customers information. This dealership was very unprofessional and has impacted not one but multiple customers. I asked for them to send letters to all three of the credit bureaus to have the accounts and the hard inquiries removed from my credit report.Initial Complaint

On 11/3/21 we purchased a 2022 Tahoe from Seguin Chevrolet. On 11/30/21 when going to start Tahoe we noticed the screen where odometer, gages ect. was noted with screen out it appeared shattered. The actual glass/screen or surface was not damaged. I had also received an error that my battery was dead. I immediately sent a photo to our sales person *** to inquire if this was an issue with the Tahoe. She advised she would check with service and I would have to bring in. I called the dealership to schedule an appointment. The earliest appointment was Tuesday Dec 7th. On December 7th the vehicle was taken in for service. The Tahoe was checked and the battery was tested and found to be a non working battery. It was replaced. The service advisor stated he needed to show me something he then went on to say the screen was broken. He then said you must have hit something hard to break the screen. I then proceeded to tell him it was an issue that occurred when the battery died. So he walked away. I then asked to speak to a manager in charge. I then spoke to GM ********************* after talking to him he then stated let me see whos going to pay for the screen. I replied we havent had a month and this has happened. So he said they would see what they could do. Then he stated ok we will replace the screen. At that point I advised him it wasnt safe to drive the Tahoe due to not being able to see the speed, know how gas was in the vehicle or be able to see alerts. I advised him it was probably something electrical due to the alerts when the computer was placed on the vehicle when I arrived. I then asked him if he would allow his wife or loved one to drive it. He then stayed no and I replied neither will I and handed him the keys and told him I will not be taking the vehicle. I then asked if they had loaner cars or how would I get home he then said no but they did get an employee to drive me home. On 12/8/21 he called to say the part was on back order. I purchased a vehicle April 14th, 2022. Two months later, there are still issues. The Buyers Tag receipt was intentionally documented with the incorrect name. The title was never cleared in ***** with the *** to sell and register the vehicle.I was specifically asked by finance manager ********************************* to not leave a review or file a complaint after my buyers experience. This dealership sold me a vehicle with damage, and without a trailer hitch cover that was present in photographs. A contract was signed for the dealership to repair the damage and replace the cover, but so far they are in breach of that contract as they have not repaired or replaced any part as contractually agreed upon. The dealership advertises their vehicles have not been in accidents, but one quick walk will show damage on nearly every used vehicle and it's easy to understand there just is not a claim filed documenting the damage. The dealership advertises ***** Blue Book for Trade In valuing, but their employee specifically said that is not the case, and they are intentionally using false advertising.I was forced to use in house financing, which is not advertised to any consumers that their own financing is not accepted. The dealership lies and states it is a ***** policy, but I know factually it is not a ***** policy.I was told the interest rate they would offer would be in line with the interest rate I walked in with, and the interest rate was over double.I have emailed employees three times regarding the vehicle title issue in an attempt to rectify the issue, and I have had zero response from *********************, *****************************, and ********************************* in over two weeks.Incomplete documentation was provided to me, the consumer, after purchase of the vehicle. The dealership is intentionally refusing to fix the vehicle title issue in an attempt to block refinancing of the vehicle which would void their loan commission. They intentionally provided false documentation to the state.
