To whom it may concern, My name is **************, owner of Makolo Trucking LLC. I have been with ADA logistics since the summer of 2020. As a trucking company, ADA Logistics was handling all my dispatch, and in exchange, I was paying them 12% of each load that was assigned to me. In September 2020, we signed a two years agreement on equipment or trailer # ****. The lease ends on Sept 1, 2022. Has it reached the end of the lease agreement; I had a remaining balance of $19,230.53 that was supposed to be taken care of before the title could be issued in my name. I had two options. The first option was to pay it off in a one-time payment, and the Second option was to pay it in 24 months or another two years. I wouldn't say I liked the idea of paying it for another 24 months, so I sent them an email, saying I was willing to go with option two but with the option to pay it off anytime. They have yet to respond to my email, but a few days later, they sent me a lease agreement to sign with 24 months payment terms. From there, I realized that something was wrong. Therefore I changed my mind and told them I was willing to make a one-time payment; otherwise, option 1. in the meantime, they were deducting $855 monthly payment on my settlement for trailer payments totalling $1710. Things got worse when I told them I was leaving at the end of Oct. A few days later, the owner of *** called me and tried to convince me to stay. Then he was going to help me buy another truck, but I was no longer interested in working with them. So now I am leaving them; they have started creating charges that I am unaware ofwanting me to pay $19,271.41. Without considering the two months that I've paid them.
