The business owner, who uses attached number as a personal and business number, claimed to have 10+ years experience in HVAC and could fix my AC unit(s). Including labor, parts, and refrigerant, $1,228 and three visits later, my unit was no where near fixed. I had a second person come out who said he knew who the guy was and told my wife and I that he is a scam artist and knew nothing about HVAC, and when the second guy looked at our unit, he said that the inside was so rusted and corroded that it should not have ever been worked on or had parts replaced because I needed a new unit. But didn’t try to sell me one like the first guy did at an outrageous price.. I called back the first person to inform him of the situation and and asked for a refund. He said he would, however it’s been almost 2 weeks, and nothing.Business response

This complaint was filed after I had explained to the customer that he had a major issue with his condenser unit and was advised it needed to be replaced. His furnace had a blower motor that had burned out. We replaced his blower motor and his system was running and he was advised if he had any other issues to please contact us because he did not have the money to replace the outside unit. On a second date we were called to come back because the unit was frozen up. His refrigerant levels were low and he was advised that the pressures indicated his compressor was going out. ****** said he wanted to talk to his wife about the replacement. Then he called cack and said they wanted to charge it up to see if it would work instead of replacing the unit. He had already been advised the unit did need to be replaced. On a 3rd call he stated it still was not cooling. Again he was advised that the unit was out.of date and needed to be replaced. No fees were charged on the last visit. He was charged a standard service call for his previous visits. And he was charged for the new fan motor that does still work and the amount of refrigerant used to charge his unit. I have never scammed anyone for any work that out business has provided. I am licensed with the Texas department of licens and registration. I am certified with my EPA license and our business is insured. I told Mr ********* that I would issue a refund for those calls but as he paid with a debit card it had to be filed with the processing system and would take some time to clear and post back to his account.
