I purchased a horse from JT for $4500. I was told they dont allow us to ride the horses so they give a 45 day guarantee. For some reason the horse did not work out, we could bring the horse back & trade for one that would fit better, no questions asked. This is also posted on their website. Once I got the horse home, we discovered him having a medical condition that was not disclosed to me, nor was the horse, the beginner, safe horse I was told he was. After several attempts (in a couple of weeks time period) of trying to trade him it became aware, they had no intentions of letting me trade the horse. At one point **** did tell me I could bring him back and pick another horse, but then would give me zero guidance on which horses to look at that would fit my needs. They had over 80 horses so how am I supposed to pick w/no help. Several times I had asked them to please schedule a day I could bring him back for a trade. After I realized they were just not going to trade him. I started asking for a return of money. They said they would not refund my money, but give me a credit. Not sure how Im supposed to get a credit when they were selling every horse they had owned and shutting down JT livestock in *****, *****. There are four different live videos of them talking about shutting the business down, liquidating all horses and **** herself retiring. Since this, I understand, they have bought a auction place in ******** and moved business there yet the business is a kill pin, and auction business. I did not purchase a kill pin horse or an auction horse for $4500. So Im still waiting on that refund considering they have no options of trading me. I have sent them emails and letters for demand but nothing has been received back. Its very obvious these people are scamming people and have no intentions on trading, if they were a legit business, they would allow people to come test ride the horses, vet check them and trade when needed or refund if they dont have a fit .

12/20/22 I purchased a horse named ******, a Belgian draft, from *********************** DBA JT Livestock based off an internet ad stating he was completely sound. On pickup it was after some hard rains and the property was extremely muddy so I was unable to examine his feet. When getting him home, I was able to observe that his hooves were very overgrown. He was also lame at the trot. He would not allow his feet to be handled easily, but I was able to make a video when he held it up while standing. I had my farrier come to trim his hooves Dec 22. When my farrier picked up his back left hoof it was obvious that he had a serious infection and could not be trimmed because I was told there would be extreme bleeding. I then made an appointment with my vet for Dec 29 (took longer than I would have liked due to Christmas holiday). The vet coordinated my visit with the expert farrier they use. Both the vet and farrier diagnosed him with severe canker that was likely incurable. I was given the option to take him for surgery at the vet school at *********, but the prognosis was very poor and the procedure and follow up care would have been extremely painful. At this point I opted for humane euthanasia.

**** ******* sold me a horse, and when my hauler went to pick up the horse, her leg was bloody and she could hardly stand. They didn't separate my horse from the other horses like she was supposed to be. My horse couldn't be brought home to me, because a 9 hour drive would be cruel to a horse in her condition. Now they expect me to pay for Vet care due to their negligence and I don't get any type of refund after I've paid them 950$. They have effectively scammed me out of nearly 1000 dollars and now I'm having trouble getting ahold of them.
