Down payment in the amount of $46000 was made to mobile home masters in may of 2022. Would not give updates on delivery of home or from finance company. Original home delivery was july 15th and ended up being august 20th due to them not ordering home. Home sat on property for several weeks without them setting it up or finishing yet they notified lender it was complete so had to start the mortgage process on a home that was not finished. After house was set up multiple issues were found with the structure and trim etc. have taken multiple days off from work to meet with contractors and no one shows up, or it gets rescheduled the day off. We were told on a Friday at 4pm that we needed to move everything out of our home for the contractor to finish the following Monday only for them to not show up.Business response

I am truly sorry to hear that you feel like you had a less than perfect experience with Mobile Home Masters. We strive to do our absolute best with every home buyer.
You stated in your complaint that we did not order your house in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that is not true. We received your full down payment on June the 9th your house was ordered on June the 10th. You were advised at that time that it could take up to 12 weeks for your house to be built and delivered to our location. I assure you that we made multiple attempts to speed up the process with the manufacture and your house was delivered to our location within 5 weeks.
We are very proud of our service department as it is a vital part of turning a customer's house into a home. One way we ensure the new homeowner is satisfied; is we always walk through the home not once but twice with the homeowner. We use this opportunity to discuss any issues that *** have come up before and after delivery. We take multiple pictures and several pages of notes to make sure each issue is handled in such a manner that will not only satisfy the homeowner with a quick response but the quality of craftmanship is bar none. We schedule a time and date with the homeowner that is convenient with them and can fit into the contractor's schedule. WE schedule the appointment so that we can call the contractor and remind them and to make sure we are aware of the progress of any repairs needed. Which we did, as it happened, he was injured at another job that day. We were not aware of his injury until later that evening. We are truly sorry that he did not contact you. Unfortunately, we have no control over a contractor's injuries.
It is my understanding that our service department sent a contractor out not once but twice to repair a shower floor. That issue is covered by a 1 year manufacture warranty, it would have been months before anyone could get out there; not to mention the multiple hoops you would have had to jump through. We paid for that repair and got it done in a fraction of the time. I believe we also installed a backsplash. The backsplash was not included with the home you purchased; however we covered that cost as well.
I need to make sure we are clear that at Mobile Home Masters, we do not, will not and cannot contact the finance company after the closing of the home sale as it is illegal. Honestly, you purchased a very nice home, however it is not worth losing our license over.
In close, again we at Mobile Home Masters really do go above and beyond. I am truly sorry that you feel that you had a bad experience.

I am rejecting this response because:
when we toured the explorer that was on your lot we were told that we would be receiving that exact home the way it is. including the back splash. after i refused to give you the $46,000 before any paper work started, the house was sold out from under us. would not even accept a deposit.
after that we were told you could order the same exact home WITH the backsplash, that would be delivered by july 15th. i called numerous times to try to get the ball rolling as ************* could not get you guys to send over anything. the day the house was supposed to be delivered i was called and asked to verify the trim and colors that we wanted. therefore i assume the house has not been ordered.
the backsplash was not given, was not a "favor" it was an obligation.
And with the repairs, we were told to contact mobile home masters if there was any issues. everytime i brought something up i was told "let me check with my boss" or excuse upon excuse. ive even contacted the manufacturer and warranty company only to be told YOU were the ones to fix it. we have taken off of work and changed ours days multiple times for people to not even show up, or show up hours late and create more issues than were fixed. we have had water leaking through our front and side doors since the beginning and its always"were checking with the manufacturer" yet they have no information on any of the issues.we also have structural flooring issues in every room of the house, and you sent a "contractor" that told us that he was not able or qualified to do any of the flooring repairs. in result we now have improperly installed (stapled instead of glued, manufacturer said was improper way and scheduling a contractor to fix)in multiple room
***************** which only wastes more of our time to get resolved.
also every time i call the office to speak to *****, i get transferred and hung up on. or told that he is on vacation. when my wife calls, she gets an answer but has to deal with the "ive been doing this since 94" hate to say it but this is not how business should be handled. mobile home masters and its employees have ZERO integrity. i want my home fixed correctly.i have screen shots of every conversation to back every bit of this. will gladly send them over

It seems that there are some discrepancies' in the time frame of events and conversations. You stated that you have a record of these communications. From a business owner with integrity and character, I would like to invite you to meet with our team so that we can make sure ALL of these issues and misunderstandings are more than taken care of.
