  On June 8th, 2024, I called Viera Construction to come and check my roof. He inspected my roof and sent me an estimate, including changing all shingles in the back part of the house, placing a new flashing around the chimney, new ridges, total: $5,230 I agreed, he asked for 40% of the total, I issued the check on June 13th, 2024 (check #*** for $2,128). He said they would do the job on June 14th,3 individuals came on June 14th and they tore off the old shingles. ****** Viera showed up at 11:30 am with only the shingles, not the other material needed to do the job that day.On June 14th, they partially did the roof and said they would come the following day to finish it. The following day only 1 worker came, ******. ****** showed up at 2 pm, did not help ****** to continue with the roof, placed nails in the flashing and left ****** had called ****** at 3 pm asking for more nails. He didn't get the nails ****** showed up at 7 pm with the pipes and exhaust. He placed them and told me he would come tomorrow to finish ****** came back on Sunday June 16th to finish.On June 19th, rained and I went to the attic little and there was water coming in from the exhaust, the pipe from the exhaust was broken. I texted ******, he came and placed caulking around the exhaust June 26th it rained again there was water still coming to the attic I texted ****** he hasnt come to fix the exhaust On July 5th another text with no response On June 27th, I called a roof company to check the issue and they found several issues:1.The exhaust placed is wrong in size, causing leaking to the attic 2.The flashing around the chimney is done incorrectly and with the incorrect material 3.They used nails on ridges instead of the appropriate screws Many nails are not appropriately sealed and exposed to the weather 4.The material used on the flashing around the skylight is not the appropriate Skylight needs to be reflashed 5.The hip and ridge must be replaced with appropriate rated shingles.

  I attached the contract I signed with Viera Construction, LLC as well as the report from Amtill Roofing, company that I had to contact to check the issue with the leak on my attic after Viera replaced the exhaust because Viera did not respond to my communication and y inquiries about the leaking. Amstill found several issues on the work done by Viera and are explained in their report attached.
