I went in for a $140 whitening treatment. They conned me into a membership with Affirm for six months $140 a month then they accidentally they said charged my credit card $840. They told me they reverse the charge but they have not right now they’ve charged me almost $2000 for an appointment. I only wanted one treatment.Business response

Dear Ms. LaPierre,
Thank you for reaching out and giving us the opportunity to address your concern regarding the charges for your membership.
We have thoroughly reviewed the situation, and we would like to confirm the following:
You were initially charged on your American Express ending in 8423 for the full amount of $824.26. However, we have already processed a full refund to your American Express account for this charge. The refund was successfully issued on 9/21/2024.
In addition, we understand that you were also charged through your Affirm account. After reviewing this charge, we applied a 15% military discount to your transaction, which resulted in a partial refund of $119.25 on the total amount.
We believe that these adjustments have resolved the billing discrepancies, but if there are any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for your continued trust in We Whiten.
Sincerely,
We Whiten Support Team

On 11/13/22, WeWhiten reached out to me via Instagram, to do a sponsored post in which they would give me 50% off the whitening. I confirmed with them twice, in writing, that I had veneers and wanted to ensure they would fix the veneer after (see attached). I got to the appointment and after they said they can't actually match veneers, don't have the credentials or qualifications, and that I still had to pay for the visit. I submitted a complaint and they only partially refunded what I paid and did not address or offer any compensation towards fixing the tooth they said they could match. These people are incredibly unethical and directly lied to me. I'd never use them and never trust them with something as important as teeth. They should be held accountable for causing a person to need thousands of dollars in corrections after their services, of which they lied about.Initial Complaint

07/11/22; Paid $196.00; Business advertised a single 90 minute teeth whitening session that would provide results lasting "up to 6 months" if instructions were followed (i.e., ingesting no colored/dyed foods or drinks for 24 hours after session). I followed their instructions for 48+ hours after session, and there was 100% fadeback within 4 days of my 90 minute session. Business also claimed little to no discomfort would be experienced from session. I experienced excruciating pain for over a week and a half after the session. I contacted business within 4 days of my session through their online review portal they sent to me through my personal email stating my issues and was not contacted by the business as they stated they would. I then contacted the business through email on 07/22/22 and was still not contacted by the business. I then called the business on 07/27/22 expressing my concerns once again. I was told by a representative named "Jo" that I would be contacted within 24 hours for my refund request. I was not contacted within said time frame and contacted the business yet again by telephone on 08/01/22. I was told by a representative named "Farrah" that management would contact me the same day about my refund request and processing. I was contacted by management after business hours on 08/01/22 and told by a representative named "Jan" that management would not process my refund as requested and offered for me to come in and get another treatment to see if the process would work better after another treatment. "Jan" stated that even though I followed their instructions, results typically only last 4-6 months. I stated that I did not understand why I would go back and spend money expecting a different result with the same treatment. "Jan" then offered a $20 off a second treatment, to which I asked for at least half of my payment back since my results did not even last the minimum time that WeWhiten/Simply Organic states. "Jan" declined refund and ended call.
