I made an online reservation for 5/27/22-5/30/22. Reservation # ********. This reservation was for 2 adults, 1 kid, and 1 free kid, and an additional child, with a travel trailer, no pets. no side outs. The price quoted was an awesome price and knowing that this was for Memorial Day Weekend I believed this was a great special. At the time of my reservation I also renewed my KOA membership for $33.00. The " total estimate for my stay " was $84.28 @ $28.09 a night. I paid a total of $62.05 ($33 went towards membership) at the time of my reservation being under the impression that $55.23 was due on my arrival. To my surprise on the day of my arrival I was asked to pay a balance of $214.13 and my total stay was changed to $239.13. When I asked that my original reservation quote be honored it was declined and I was told they would have never sold a reservation for that low of a price and refused to honor what I was quoted even though I showed them my email. On 05/30/22 I contacted the KOA by email @ support@koa.zendesk.com to try to resolve this issue (request #******). On 06/09/22 I received a response stating that their campground had changed ownership and their prices had changed. They requested that I submit my original email. I submitted what I had and their response was that the KOA does not have any sites at $6.00 per night and that the reservation only reflects the one "additional child". This is not my fault. Again, the original email from them under "details" includes 2 adults, 1 kid, 1 free kid" and the additional charge was for an additional kid. On 06/15/22 I received a vm from Joanna stating they did have a glitch in their system the night I made my reservation. I do believe their might have been a glitch in their system at the time the reservation was made but I expect them to honor what was quoted. I am a loyal KOA member. I would like the balance credited to me in the form of a check or KOA credit for a future stay.
