They keep calling my house even though I've asked to be taken off their call-list and I'm on the National Do Not Call RegistryBusiness response

We have only called ***** once, and that was last night. I have search our records for us calling him in the past few months, and that was just one time. So we are not calling him continuously. His phone recording also indicated that he did not ask to be put on our Do Not Call list. He just said, "My opinion is you need to go to bed." We also do not relate or follow the National Do Not Call List as it does not relate to Market Research centers. That is only for Telemarketers. We are happy to put him on our Do Not Call List, but he will actually need to say, "Please put me on your Do Not Call List."Initial Complaint

My complaint is against the company Clear Insights Group *** ***** **** ***** ***** *** Lehi, Utah 84043 Clear Insights has been calling me repeatedly from different phone numbers (so blocking the number is of no use). I have told them repeatedly I am not interested in taking their surveys but they call repeatedly anyway. I WANT THEM TO STOP - THIS IS HARASSMENT.Business response

While I understand Mr. *******'s frustration with unwanted calls, I find it difficult to respond to this complaint because I have nothing whatsoever to do with the calls he is receiving.
As is clearly stated in his complaint, he is receiving calls from Clear Insights Group in Lehi, Utah. My company, Clear Insights, LLC is registered in Ohio and is based in North Olmsted. Further, the only individuals involved with Clear Insights, LLC are my wife and me. Neither of us has ever been to Utah, nor do we ever make survey calls.
Truly, I hope Mr. ******* receives relief from the unwanted calls and that Clear Insights Group in Utah conducts business in a more professional way. Unfortunately I cannot make either of these things happen.

We are more than happy to put ***** on our Do Not Call List. He has not asked us to put him on that list though. We appreciate him kindly telling us that he is not interested, (when I went back to review the recording) but we have only talked to him one time. They call me from various area codes, they harass people all day,saying whatever their clients want as long as they are getting paid, that's a pathetic practice to follow. Trying to sway people to vote for murderers,rapists, liars and all around evil people. You must be compensated well to do anything you are told to do,no matter how horrible. On our records, we only called you twice, and you sent us to voicemail each time we have tried to call. We do not advocate to have people vote a certain way. We are a National Polling Firm, so we only call to gather people's thoughts and opinions. Where would the evidence be if we are trying to have you vote for one side if we never talked to you? We are more than happy to put you on our Do Not Contact list if that is the action you seek. If we do call you in the meantime, you can also tell one of our dialers to kindly put you on that list.Customer response

I continue to receive calls.all of the complaints about you are related to politics, you will say anything you are told,as long as someone pays you,that's pathetic. You should be sued,at the very least banned from calling anyone ever again. I specifically told you not to call me ever again and you replied that you would be more than happy to remove me IF that's the action I seek.if we call you in the meantime I could request to be put on that list.
Gee, you are so kind. Put me on the do not call list.
Do not call me or anyone else with harassing phone calls.

8/18 at 9:12pm I received a call from Clear Insight Group. I answered several of their questions till I ran out of time for the survey. I let them know that I was done and would not be answering any additional questions and that they were to never call me again. After I hung up the phone I recieved an immediate call back from Clear Insight Group. I let them know again that I was not interested in continuing the conversation and as I was explaining that to them, call waiting popped up with another caller from Clear Insight Group. Several of their employees were now calling me trying to get me to answer survey questions. I let them know that again I was not interested in answering any more questions and to not call me back. Less than 3 minutes later they were calling me again and again. The calling was to the point of harassment after I had asked several times to be left alone. I tried to call the leadership of the company but they are unresponsive. I would like it if their company had to follow the law regarding calling after 9pm in a weekday and the amount of harassing phone calls made to people after they have been told to not call back.Initial Complaint

Clear Insights will not stop calling my number. Their website states that you can request removal from a particular survey, but that has not stopped them from making multiple calls. When I block one number, they simply call again the next day from a different one. I want to be removed not just from one of their surveys, but from any future contact by Clear Insights.Business response

Sunday August 25th 2024 I got a fake non political survey from clear insight. This survey is wack, it was a total political survey stating lies against the Democrat runing againt the Maga conservative in **. Saying such lies as giving health care, social security, and other government paid benefits to illegal immigrants. This of course is a big part of a Big lie that has moved through conservative circles for decades. By claiming to be non political and putting out lies against a candidate. They are lying to potential voters trying to sway they're vote in the other direction. I'm sick of this type of *** foolery, and wish for it to end.Business response

We are more than happy to put you on our, "Do Not Contact" list.
However, when it comes to our projects that our clients give us, we have no say what is in the survey. We just execute it. That is what Clear Insights is specifically, a ************************ We have and hold many political clientele, and we both do Democratic and Conservative studies. That is not all Clear Insights does though. We have worked with ********** in the past as well as Amazon. Businesses like that. It's not just political studies, but since the election is coming up, we have been dealing with lots of political surveys.
Going back to the the issue you provided, it is to help better understand voters and how they think as well as where they typically reside. Some clients like to provide information to the respondents. That benefits our client immensely. We are not one sided, we just support our client and do what they ask us to do. It sounds like this problem does not reside with us, but specifically our client and what they have asked us to do.

I am rejecting this response because: you are putting out lies. No one can give illegal immigrants government money to give them health care, housing, etc... These are absolute lies. Not misunderstandings, not others' viewpoints, these are outright LIES. I have a problem with any business that blatantly lies. So maybe you need to fact-check what's in your market research before you print and send it out to people. The excuse that you don't read it before hand is your fault for not doing so. That would be as bad as an engineer putting together a rocket for ****** and when such vehicle crashed, using the excuse that he/she didn't read the instructions first.

As a market research company, we do call the public to gather opinions and have the right to do so. We do not call to bother you nor sell you anything. We just gather your thoughts in a quick survey and never call you again.
As a respondent, you do have the right to say you wish to have your name removed. I did go back and listen to the call, and I apologize. We do not train our employees to act so harshly. I was not proud of that, and they will be pulled aside and handled by myself. As a courtesy, I removed your name and we should not be calling you again. I hope this makes matters better for you.

I was called on 6/20/24 under the pretext of a survey but it blatant propaganda. The language used was so blatantly biased I laughed out loud at the representative!! They should not be excluded from the do not call list since it isn't a public service.Business response

To respond to this complaint, it is important to note that we are strictly a *************** center. We only do surveys here where we gather people's opinion. The survey that was being conducted sounds like it was a political phone call. In preparation for the upcoming election and polls, we conduct multiple of those surveys to gather accurate opinions. It is strictly gathering the public's opinion and nothing more. We do not sell here, and we are not telemarketers. It is not in our control if a respondent takes offense to the political survey. We only ask questions that our client needs, record them, and them submit the survey once we are done. Nothing more.Initial Complaint
