I wish they had a no star rating. Worst experience of my life. They use false advertising that they are professional masons. I hired them to rock a spa with veneer rock. The employee ***** did such a horrible job it looked like a 3rd grader did it. The owner has told me over two years he will redo it and never follows through with his word. He stole over $3,000 from me not to mention the cost of the veneer rock. Do not use this company. They are scam artists. They use false advertising that they guarrantee customer satisfaction and are very professional in their skills. Nothing could be farther from the truth. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

We hired ***** who owns Rockn-It Masonry to repair a few loose stones on the exterior of our home. What we thought would be a simple repair turned into a full removal of rock with the plan to have them install new rock and brick. During the removal they damaged my garage door, windows, and destroyed my landscaping. When the removal was completed they began to prepare to the outside of my home for new rock. They removed plywood that had mold on it but left areas that were still showing signs of mold. We had to ask about water proofing the windows and adding flashing to the bottom of the areas they were rocking. They proceeded to install the flashing upside down and completely left tar paper off some areas. We were very uncomfortable with his work and decided to get the ************** inspector to our home to inspect his work. The inspector saw numerous issues and red tagged to stop the project. At this point we fired ***** and expected to receive a refund ($6600) on the work he had not yet completed or that needed to be redone due to failing inspection. ***** proceeded to provide us with a new "bid" and tried to charge us another $200. He added buckets and blankets and mileage charges that should have all been part of the original bid. ***** is refusing to pay us back. Be aware that he is not a licensed contractor and will cut any corners he can either on purpose or because he doesn't know what he's doing.

note: I had to leave a star it should be 0 We hired Rock'n -IT to replace some rock on the outside of our house that had some weather damage, we just need the rock replaced. On February 18th we sent a text that there was no Mortar between the rocks that were replaced.The response was we will be there sometime this weekend.On Saturday the 19th we asked if he was going to make it out.The response was tomorrow afternoon Sunday February 20th, we text at 2:30 what time do you think you will be here response 4:50, soon based on the weather this week.February 25th If all goes well, with work today and tomorrow, I would like to come out on Sunday when the weather gets warmer and finish up some details on you project.During this time, we found a hole in the inside wall that was done during the repair and we asked if he was going to fix that.The response was yes, they come out and applied a patch that did not cover the hole completely, then we asked what about the paint touch up The reply was and I quote. (I didnt plan on painting as there are so many shades of white paint that I was going to have you deal with that so you get a happy result!)Note: happy would have been no hole.That was not all, we got a storm and the house did not leak before the work but it did after. I sent another text about the water damage to the inside wall and The carpet, that response was they will come out and bring some Tar for the roof and gutters.This is where we stopped and hired someone else to remove the rock and replace it again.It is now repaired correctly.We tried to get our money back and some for the carpet repair, but they do not pick up the mail from the post office box, or they just pick up what they want (Not certified mail).If you have them do work for you get the home address and a money back guarantee in writing.
