      Owner has zero customer service experience. I was charged $140 for a washing machine repair when all the technician did was take the tub off and scratch dust out of a cup. When I called to dispute the charge, ***** proceeded to tell me I was ignorant and shouldn't tell him how to do his job and to just be grateful the machine works. I was told multiple times that the trip and diagnostic fee of $120 would be dropped if we chose to go with this company after the diagnostic. What we were not told was that the minimum repair fee is $130 even though nothing was repaired, just dust scratched out of a cup. ***** has no reason to be an owner and he is manipulative in his words trying to make the issue all about the caller. Countless reviews on ****** will show this.

      ***** (manager of Mr. Appliance of Provo/Lehi) was the most unprofessional manager I have ever talked to. He was verbally abusive, extremely unprofessional, and undependable. I called for clarification about a charge that was $190 (instead of $120) and to file a complaint against the technician, ****, who threatened to sue me because he fell in my garage. Here is how the manager, *****, treated me.*****: I believe ***** and **** a h*** of a lot more than I believe you He kept saying that ***** would never have told me an exact time for their technician to show up (even though she told me **** would be there at 8:00am). ***** kept threatening to listen to the recordings of the conversations I had with ***** to prove he was right. I told him that I would love it if he would listen to the recordings, but he would keep changing the subject and never did listen to the recordings. *****: We did you a favor. Just pay for it! Whats your credit card number?Me: Im not going to give you my credit card number over the phone because you are literally yelling at me.*****: Yelling? You want to hear yelling? Fine, you can do it your way. You have 14 days to pay or well charge you at $50 fee. Then if you dont pay within 21 days, well take legal action against you.For the record, I wasnt trying to get out of paying, I was trying to file a complaint and ask why they did the work without my permission (that's where the extra $70 came from). And you teach our children, heaven help us - I explained earlier that I couldnt answer the phone right when they called because Im a teacher. I don't care who you are, but especially as a manager, criticizing someones character is completely out of line.

      ******* these are false and fabricated claims. We have talked to our employees and have listened to the phone recordings between you, our scheduler, and our manager. Our manager wasn't verbally abusive, he didn't yell at you, nor did he swear. He didn't demand your credit card, he simply asked you what credit card you would like to put it on today to which you said, you didn't feel comfortable giving your credit card number over the phone, that you would prefer to pay your **** online. Never once did you say to our manager that you didn't want to pay it over the phone because he was yelling at you like you claim in this review. We have also talked extensively with our technician about the conversation you and he had over the phone, he mentioned to you that he tripped and fell in your garage, but never once did he say or imply that he was going to *** you. In these phone recordings never once did you say to our scheduler or our manager that you wanted to file a complaint against our technician, this is fabricated. We arrived at the appointment in the two-hour window we gave you. Your Dad was supposed to be at that appointment to let us in and to make the decision, he wasnt there at all. We had to wait 25 minutes to be let into the house, since you were at work and your Dad wasnt there. We called you with the diagnosis but you didnt answer. After waiting ten minutes for you to call us back, our technician did the repair to get you taken care of since it didnt require a part. You didnt call into us to file a complaint against our technician, you called into complain that you didnt approve the repair (its hard to get an approval when you didnt have your Dad there like he said he would be there or when you dont answer your phone) at the price on the invoice and that you just wanted to pay the diagnostic fee and you were going to have your uncle do the repair. You then tried to get out of paying our trip and diagnostic fee. Even though we did the repair, we discounted the repair to only our trip and diagnostic fee to make you happy which you paid.
