We have been using Alsco for linens and scrubs for our AAAASF surgical center in Draper for 3.5 years and have repeatedly received poor service, incorrect orders, people not showing up to take our dirty linens to wash them, and leaving us without products need for patients. This has been up and down and back and forth with different employees at their company. We are trying to get out of our contract so we can get consistently good service. Our last Alsco rep said we could get out of our contract, knowing the many issues we've had, and just asked that we send an email documenting that cancellation in January, which we did. We checked in later since we never heard anything only to learn that employee was gone and now the new person is saying we can't get out of the contract because goes against our contract. The contract automatically renewed for another 36 months and to get out of it, we first have to send a certified letter with proof there is a problem with our order. Then they have 60 days to fix things. If a problem occurs again, we have to send another certified letter giving them 30 days and then if it happens again, we should be able to get out of the contract. I have never had a company make it so difficult to cut ties, especially when they are at fault. I have expressed deep frustration in the fact that they are able to not provide services outlined in our contract, but will force us to hold to that same contract. We are very busy and have expectations around caring for the needs of our patients and they have continually wasted a lot of our time and energy having to babysit them, report problems, have them say they'll do better and continue to receive poor service. We need a new company we can count on and have heard other facilities have been facing the same problems with Alsco and are trying to cancel them as well. There has been no accountability or understanding and at this point, I just want to be able to part ways after so much back and forth.

ClearStream informed ALSCO that we did not want to continue services long before the automatic renewal date of our contract on 3/5/2023. We were told that it would be taken care of. Despite our request, ALSCO continued to deliver and charge our credit card and has done so biweekly since that date. We have repeatedly try to communicate with them concerning this issue as well as other invoicing overcharges only to be met with evasiveness and an unacceptable buyout contract followed by more evasiveness. We are at a loss of how to terminate a partnership when the partner refuses to acknowledge that the contract was terminated and continues to charge our credit card for services no longer provided.

we have been doing business with alsco from 10 plus years and have had issues but they have been resolved. lately price have gone up too much and we had been going back and forth trying to work with them. however quality has gone down and the company only wants to leave the linen if they (not us as the user and payer of the supply) feel we might use it and still charge the same week after week at the same price. i understand that so i asked of i could be put on a monthly plan. no. bi weekly. no. could we work something out. no. they would not change out the mop heads because they were not put in the truck yet still charge for them. forget to put new matts. not leave enough aprons and towels. i would have to check what they left me and sometimes i didn't have the time. i have a small business to run and don't have time to be babysitting. yet i would still complaint to the driver to tell the manager. it got to the point where they finally got fed up with ME and stopped service. the driver arrived and told me that this would be the last week of service with us and that next week they would come and pick up their things. i told them great. then they send ME a Bill (for 189 months) for breaking the contract. i got a new company (my business continues) they are now saying the driver felt threatened and i never called them to ask about service being renewed, like i have to BEG for their services. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL service!!!!!
