Aspen remodeled our kitchen allowing us to leave some of the cabinets intact and arranging matching of additional cabinets. The floor was completely redone and the island enlarged and relocated. I would highly recommend **** and **** - good and clear communication, work was done in a timely fashion and to a high standard. Great consultation prior to organizing the work and we got a fantastic new kitchen. Thank you **** and ****!Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you ****** and ***** for your confidence in my company, Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc. We are relatively new in the ************** area, but my company has been in business since 1994. **** ***** is the owner and license holder for two general contracting licenses. We have a license in ******* and ****. **** has a B.S. in Construction Engineering. **** and I work great together and our goal on every job is to treat our customers with respect , honesty and we conduct our business the right way! We don't need to over bill the customer in the beginning with a large deposit. When I hear contractors asking for large deposits, I feel this is wrong. No contractor should ask for more than 10%. What this tells me is the contractor can not afford to fund the job and their work quality may be lacking and they are trying to stay one step ahead of the billing. Aspen will pay for all the work before asking the owners for payment, the work shall be inspected and paid for before Aspen ask the owners for payment. We are confident in our quality of workmanship. Aspen has had an excellent reputation over the 30 years of doing business in *******, ******** and ****. We look forward to new customers, please reach out to us and we look forward to meeting you.Review from Tracy O

Aspen worked with Rocky Mountain Power Company to remove a power pole that was on my property near the privacy wall location and which was an eyesore as it ran a power line straight through my yard and up to the corner of my house. We had to bury 110 lineal feet of 3" electrical conduit, including the neighbors service, our service, a junction box at the old power pole location for both houses and run the electrical pipe to the back of the property to the main power pole and transformer. Once, the electrical pipe was installed and inspected Rocky Mountain Power Company pulled the wire through our pipe to our neighbors service and to our new service meter. A junction box was installed in the yard to join the electrical service wires together. The power lines were hooked up to the breaker boxes by the contractors electrician and we were able to power back in our home the same day.Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you ************************* for the 5 star review for the incredible tough job of digging the trenches for the conduit to be placed in and for Rocky Mountain Power to install the power lines to the new 200 amp service and breaker box panel that was inspected by the City officials. We appreciate the work that you have hired us for.Review from Tracy O

Aspen removed all of the items out of the garage and stored them in a metal storage container during the project. Aspen saw cut the 6" thick concrete that had galvanized pipe for heating the floor with water and this was hooked up to the boiler in the basement. This was a very difficult task for John and Ryan to perform due to the galvanized pipe. Once the concrete was removed they drilled and epoxied #5 rebar at 2' on center around the perimeter of the garage foundation wall. Aspen installed a 2' grid each way with #5 rebar and they used 3" tall footer chair supports to keep the rebar off of the dirt and in the middle of the new concrete thickness. Aspen created a recessed curb for the garage door to come down on and to prevent water intrusion into the garage on rainy or snowy days. This was a great idea! Upon completion of the concrete slab, Aspen constructed wood shelving for plastic bins to store personal belongings, shoe rack for all of our shoes, and open shelving for other belongings. We have a new pull down stairs, sand finish stucco on all of the interior block walls, which made the interior finish look so much better. We have hooks and baskets for personal belongings. The ceiling was laser leveled, a header that was in the attic was dropping down so they jacked that up to allow the new ceiling to be level, drywall was installed and a knockdown texture was applied to the finished drywall. Everything was painted to the colors I selected and we are very happy with the overall project.Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you ********************* for the successful project that we performed for you. In all my 30 years of construction work I have never encountered such touch concrete! The concrete slab was horrible and all broken up due to the hidden black pipe that was used to heat the garage floor. Now the garage is useful, structurally safe and looks great inside!Review from Tracy O

Aspen does excellent, high-quality work. I've had additional work done - this time building a custom 2-way fireplace for our main room, and adding a custom, mahogany panel ceiling, both of which have elevated the look and feel of the home beautifully!Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you so much ***** for your review! **** and I worked hard to achieve the look you were wanting and we created a large open space with 13' flat ceilings. The flat ceiling is 12' wide by 28' long with 4'x4' mahogany stained panels and 1/4"x3/4" polished aluminum metal around each of the mahogany panels. The sloped portion of the ceiling has a level 5 drywall finish. This has made your main floor look larger than what it was with the old 8' ceilings and all the subdivided rooms. Now your home has an amazing view once you enter the front door and a expansive view out the back of your home with all the glass that has been incorporated into the design. Thank you!Review from Richard C

Aspen was hired for remodeling after we met John Ahern, the owner. He mentioned his training and his previous remodeling experience, and impressed us. He asked for only 10% down payment with the signing of the contract, and then monthly draws were based upon work finished and already paid for by Aspen. #1. First was to replace a leaking glass roof on a sunroom extension to the kitchen. The house was 83 years old, and the sunroom had been added approximately 70 years ago. Two large windows also existed without any heat reflecting coating. John redesigned the roof and put in 6'x2' Velux curb mounted skylights, and replaced the large windows with locally obtained double paned windows. All had top of the line thermal coatings. #2. A 30 year old roof was replaced with 50-year Malarkey shingles and all new flashings. A few rotted rafters were replaced, and the additional cost was reasonable. Also replaced was the ~60 year old cedar shake siding, window and door trim, soffit, gutters, downspouts, and fascia boards. Exterior elevation materials were redesigned. Installation included new Azek PVC triple fascia, PVC window trim, PVC door trim, AC grade plywood for the soffits, PVC 2" wide vented soffit materials, and all painted as appropriate. Tyvex house wrap was used for dry-in. Aspen purchased 8-foot long Shakertown panels with pre-mounted cedar shingles and stained them with a transparent redwood stain. Effort was made to keep the workplace safe for workmen working off the ground. As needed, shingles were cut to fit between the window trim, soffit, and fascia boards. Tight mitres all the way around. #3. Using experienced people, construction and installation of 4 2' wide cabinets on an 8' base. Included was an electrical outlet on the end. Each cabinet included functional shelving, and roll-out drawers. The quality of all Aspen's work is simply excellent, and John went the extra mile to make sure we were always informed and pleased with the progress.Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you **** and **** for the wonderful review for the three separate jobs Aspen has performed for you two over the last year and half. Now we are starting our fourth job next week for you two. **** and I enjoy working with you both and it has been a pleasure to meet you two, get to know you as we have continued to work for you both. I have always had the mind set to have repeat customers, because it makes the process of working through and construction project smoother and we know what to expect. **** and I appreciate the trust and confidence that you have shown us. **** and I work great together and we make a great team. Our goal is quality workmanship for a fair price, and we bill our customers based on completed work that has been paid for by the ** before we come to the homeowner for payment. That's the right way to conduct business! Thank you *******************Review from Tracy O

We considered a few companies to perform the design and remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. We decided on Aspen Diversified Construction for our remodel. **** impressed ** with his professionalism, design ideas, his past jobs and referrals, and knowing that **** has a degree in Construction Engineering with two State issued General Contractor licenses. So, we were very comfortable knowing that Aspen had all of the skills and high-quality experience to carry out the type of remodeling project -- with an excellent track record to prove it! We hired Aspen once the design was completed. This job required all of the interior finishes to be removed down to the exterior block walls and removed the spliced ceiling joist. What a mess these guys had to go through to get the space redesigned! Our design called for one window to be closed off, one window was expanded into a 10' wide four panel sliding glass door, and the last window was expanded to a 6'x5' window that is in front of our free-standing tub. Our home is over 70 years old, and we had many unknown problems that had to be overcome, but we were happy to know that Aspen managed these issues with the subcontractors and engineer to deliver on our construction design work. Since our home was so old, the bathroom was not connected to the master bedroom and ****'s design incorporated the bathroom design with access to the master bedroom and for our guest to use the rest room upstairs as well. We have a beautiful vestibule area that allows access to the bedroom and to the toilet room through two separate doors. We incorporated pocket doors to save space in our master suite and the design works wonderfully! We would hire Aspen again because **** and his team, along with Aspen's professionalism and remodeling knowledge is second to none. Aspen has been in business since **** and **** is very knowledgeable. Great job ****!Aspen Diversified Construction, Inc Response

Thank you ***** for taking the time to provide us a review for your master bedroom remodel. When you deal with a home that is 70 years old there are so many surprises that a GC has to contend with. None of the old boards were straight, so we had to replace everything in order to make the new interior finishes come out to a high level of quality. The master bedroom has a custom wood ceiling with custom made crown molding and was finished with a white wash finish and clear coated. Another feature to the master bedroom was the wall behind the bed. We covered the wall with real stone that matches the 8' tall x 32' long privacy wall that we constructed in the backyard along the property line to hide the neighbors garage/carport area. Thank you for the opportunity to work for you once again!!! *******************
