We selected Prestige Roofing to re-shingle our roof in September, 2023. Included in the bid, Prestige was to replace my rain gutters and downspouts. Prestige completed the shingles but the owner (Kevin) said his rain gutter machine was being repaired but if the repairs were not completed by the next week, he would rent or borrow another machine so he could replace my gutters and downspouts. On September 29, 2023, I made the mistake of paying Prestige ($10,155.00) after the shingles were done. Big mistake. Since then, I have sent numerous texts, emails, and voicemails to Kevin about completing the job and he has not responded to any of them. That's what I get for trusting someone I don't know. Also, the bid included 10 sheets of OSB to repair the soft spots in the roof. There were many soft spots on the North slope so I paid over $1400 extra to have OSB installed over the entire North slope. After checking the South slope, I discovered that there were several soft spots that Prestige did not repair. I questioned Kevin about this and he said they didn't need repair. Prestige was paid to repair those soft spots and they failed to make those repairs on the South slope. The bottom line is that in order to repair the soft spots, they would have to tear up the new shingles and underlayment on the South slope, which would be very time consuming and costly so Kevin tried to talk his way around it.
