I am submitting a complaint against Rocky Mountain Auto Glass located at *** * *** *, Bountiful, UT 84010. On October 18, 2023, I paid $4,464.39 for a transmission replacement on my 2018 Chevy Silverado. After receiving my vehicle, issues with the transmission persisted, prompting a return to the shop. Rocky Mountain Auto Glass, who used a third party, Cox Automotive Inc. (Manheim), completed the repairs on December 29. However, the vehicle was not released due to Rocky Mountain Auto Glass's failure to pay Manheim. Manheim repair cost were more than the original amount ($5428.29) but all I'm asking for is the original amount I paid. Consequently, I had to directly pay Manheim on January 9, 2024, to retrieve my vehicle. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue and seek reimbursement from Judd Hooley at Rocky Mountain Auto Glass, I have not received a refund or any form of resolution. This situation has left me without the $4,464.39 I was owed, despite assurances of service quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. Which has caused me to pay for the same service twice. I seek the BBB's assistance in mediating this dispute and securing a refund from Rocky Mountain Auto Glass.Initial Complaint

On 10/29/2021 I purchased for $279.14 a windshield from Rocky Mountain Auto Glass who installed it. On 6/2/2022 the windshield got a rock chip which caused a small crack. I contacted Rocky Mountain Auto Glass that same week to have it repaired so the crack wouldn't get worse. when they came to do the repair they actually made the crack worse, extending it the whole length of the windshield. I was told they would get it "taken care of". I contacted them multiple times over subsequent weeks and was given at least 3 appointments for which no one showed up to replace the windshield. Now they have blocked my number and apparently refuse to help resolve the issue they created after committing to fixing it. They have made no effort to resolve the problem, only hollow appointments. I would like either a refund or my windshield actually replaced as previously agreed.
