My dentist and ****** ********** suggested to me I need to go to Periodontics for bone loss. I went to the ********************************** Surgery on January 13th 2023, and I didn't know they were not a place for Periodontal disease, so when I went over there the receptionist didn't mention that they didn't offer those services, and Dr.***********************************-****** DMD (Dental License: ********** still took me in for consultation the only thing he told me was, "We just do Oral Surgery, you need to go to Periodontist." Following those few words they charged me for just meeting him for less than a minute a $95 fee for what they deemed Consultation which wasn't helpful at all, and I feel like that was a Fraud. Also I feel Receptions or Doctor shouldn't take me inside and instead just me this isn't the correct place. I tried to Resolve this with the Receptionist and she told me I still have to Pay.Business response

Good morning,
Hope all is well!
Patient called to make the appointment for an evaluation of her "Bone loss". Bone loss is something that we treat with different bone grafts and different procedures to strengthen a patient's bone. The day of patient's appointment, patient did not bring a referral, only brought a copy of patient's CT scan and a report. When discussing their main concerns, they expressed their main concern as "Bone loss," Dr. ************ conducted an evaluation of their mouth, then took them to his office (Where he had the CT scan open) to show them the different areas on her CT scan that showed concerned. After his thorough evaluation, he explain to them that the bone loss was due to a periodontal disease.
Patient's visit was at least 15 minutes, which is the length of most of our consults. Patient's check in time was at 2:33pm and checkout was at 3:20pm. They were charged since they had seen Dr. ************ and were evaluated by him.Thank you,
