Currently being evicted with my children due to lack of payment for attorney fees. When the court date came I only owed their attorney fees. Now, I have to pay all of October and the attorney fees from last month. Can't afford extra fees. I get paid Biweekly. I make just enough to keep the roof over my family head. I can't even pay the rent next Tuesday when I get paid. My children and I are sleeping in a car or random streets. This company ethics is dehumanizing. This apartment has Black mold and some sort of forty year old sewage in the basement under my apartment. Which has a foul odor. Very toxin.

I moved out of ************************* in July & never received my security deposit back. October is two days away and all they keep saying is we havent received the check in the mail. I want to know why the process to get my money back is complex compared to the company taking money from me.

On September 11, 2023, I filed a verbal complaint with the Manager against one of the maintenance men for harassing me and asked for the no-harassment policy that she has on file for her employees. I also requested his name so I could file a police report to date all of my requests have been ignored. during the meeting with the manager, I requested that this person not be sent to my apartment in the future and he was sent anyway. I have emails to back up this communication and responses from the Manager. I received a nonrenewal for 2025 and I believe it is in retaliation to this complaint. I have always paid my rent on time and have received no complaints from my fellow neighbors.

I moved out of the apt complex ************** apts on Jan 31, 2024. I rented 180 *************** apt 5 in **************, **. On Feb 27, 2024, I was advised that the move out inspection was not done until Feb 12th. I was told that the timeframe to return my security deposit would start on that date verses the date I actually moved out which would put the company outside of the guidelines to return tenants security deposits timely after the terms of their lease have ended.

During my stay here I was using the rent relief program through VA and was placed on a month to month lease in order frmor them to charge the highest amount of rent possible to get the *** to pay it. I have since then been over charged for many different fees and was given a $1200 fee for giving 30 days notice but yet I was on a month to month and also issued a paper on my door stating I had to be out. Now I can't get my application accepted at any other complex due to this.

The address the consumer included along with her contact information is not managed by our company. We believe she has the wrong business.

In reference to complaint ID ********, the address that was included in my contact information is not the same address the complaint is for. The property address this involves is ********************************************************************************. I was receiving rent relief during covid and the property purposely placed me on a month to month "lease" also while raising the monthly rent so that they would get paid more. When I got a letter on my door stating a date to move out. So I left the property and now I am told that the property *********************** LLC is going for over $5,000 and it's affecting my life to the point my 7yr old daughter and I haven't been able to find another place to live.

      Regards,

      *******************************

The consumer was month to month because she was not paying rent. After your year lease is up a customer automatically goes month to month if they have a balance. They are not allowed to sign a new lease. She never expressed that she wanted to move out. She definitely expressed that she wanted to stay. I don't know if this is where confusion came in with ********************  because she felt she didn't have to give a notice because she was month to month, but in her lease it states that. I remember speaking to her and explaining this on the phone. She definitely did not agree but she understood. I also have several emails going back and forth with ******************** about this.

I have lived at Meadow creek apartments for about 4 years now and I honestly liked it at first. Slowly but surely things kept going wrong with my place. The air vent in my bathroom has never worked -all of my outlets continue to fall out of the wall and have shorts in them -paint is ruined due to wear and tear -weak balcony curtains that easily fall off -wood floor lining peeling off/coming up -no yearly maintenance -takes forever to get maintenance help/same issues still occur -dishwasher has needed to be replaced for almost 3 years -stove falling apart -fridge is old doesnt get as cold anymore -mice -roaches -black mold growing from vents -and anytime I ask about getting my place painted or worked it is an issue with the landlord and she says I cant get what I need fixed or remodeled It is not fair that only when other people move out, that only those units get remodeled or painted. *** been loyal and paid a lot of money to this apartment for years. The landlord is also super unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend anyone living here.

Since January 2021 Ive had feces, urine, tissue and sewage have flooded my bathroom. I call and report it each time with no reconciliation. Most times no one comes to help me clean up the sewage and human waste from my home. The sewage water sticks to the wood in my home and has left a foul odor. I was offered to move units 1 month ago and accepted and have been ignore and out off by the leasing office. The ***** infestation is abysmal as I was unable to move Into a new unit because of the ***** infestation that I was told would be treated Thursday 3/2 was not. I contacted the leasing office once again and was lied to about my apartment being treated for the roaches and was able to prove that it was not treated and when I told the leasing office I had proof she proceeded to ask me why I chose a ***** infested apartment. There is a ***** infestation in the whole apartment complex that they refuse to deal with. Also the rent has increased $310 in the past 3 years with no updates to any apartments, no dog park, no gym, no playground, no updated appliances, nothing. Ive kept an album of pictures and photos to prove my issues have been ongoing for years. I have been ignore, disregarded and out off. Ive had to reach out to all three news sources, to Seminole, and Ive reached out to the health department. Most recently Ive had to go in and demand to be placed in a new unit and then they are trying to force me into a unit that has damages and a ***** problem. Sunday half of my apartment flooded. I lost thousands of dollars worth of clothes shoes speakers rugs and had to spend over $50 in cleaning and sanitizing supplies because I was told when I signed my lease in 2/2020 I did not need renters insurance. I have still not had much communication with the leasing office except an email that was supposed to be sent to the regional office Monday and an email thread expressing my anger and disappointment and still have no resolution to the issue. Unable to upload vidoes.

I am a current resident at one of the complexes this business manages. Among many issues, my biggest is the negligence and disregard of the leasing office. Per our leasing agreement, I was supposed to receive a 75 day notice for rent increase, but didn't get a notice until 13 days later. When I brought this to the offices attention, they didn't have anything to say and basically said I have 60 days to submit a vacate request. It is illegal to not follow the terms within the lease and I would like to have this settled by either not raising my rent for the next lease, as I did not receive adequate notice.

      To whom this may concern,

      16. WRITTEN NOTICE TO TERMINATE LEASE IS REQUIRED.
It is agreed that at least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration date of the Lease term, or any renewal term, Landlord must give Lessee(s), or Lessee(s) must give Landlord a written notice to terminate the Lease at the end of the term (or any renewal term). If there is more than one lessee, then each any every lessee must execute a notice to terminate the Lease, otherwise the Lessees notice will not be honored. If neither party provides such written notice, the Lease shall automatically renew as provided in paragraph 17.

9/30/22 emailed and called the leasing office as rain water was bleeding through my bedroom ceiling and closet ceiling. The office did not send a maintenance worker until the next Friday AFTER I followed up twice. Maintenance stated it was so bad they need to move us to another unit and he would let the office know. Two weeks go by and no communication from the office. I visit the office and the manager states we are on a contractor list for the repair. That was months ago. 12/14 the rain is pouring into my closet. I contact the office again, who doesnt send maintenance for two days after telling me he would be by between **** that day. Maintenance comes and says he cant do anything. 1/3 I contacted the office about our toilet that started to randomly overflow over the weekend, we cut the water off and checked on the toilet and there were roaches in the toilet. The agent stated maintenance would be by that day. No one shows up. 1/5 I contact office again for update. Agent states she will contact maintenance. 1/6 I emailed for an update on the toilet and water damage / leak no response. 1/9 I called for an update the agent says she will contact maintence and give me a call right back that was at 12:05 today it is now 3:40. Nothing has been done for months.

      Good Afternoon,

It is my understanding that you had a meeting with the property manager and maintenance supervisor today.  It is my understanding that while it will speed up the time frame in which we are able to complete these repairs, you will not allow my staff to complete the requested repairs while you are not home.  Please reach out to ******* and let her know what day Monday - Friday you will be available to allow my staff into your unit for one day 9am-5pm and we will make sure to take care of any incomplete work orders that you have pending for your unit

Thank you for your time and your cooperation while we try to resolve any and all concerns for your unit. .
