Sole a vehicle with no liens to Colonial Nissan.They issued a $7,000 check on Feb 13th, 2023. Asked me not to deposit or cash it for 24 hrs (which I found odd, but agreed). I deposited the check on the afternoon of Feb 15th, 2023 (which was more than 24 hrs later).On Feb 17th the check was charged back out of my account and I was charged an additional $8.00 fee from my bank for the charge back. My bank couldn't say why the check was not honored by the car dealer. Said I'd have to contact the dealer.I called the dealer and the "finance manager" couldn't say why. Seemed like he could care less about it. Wouldn't say when I'd hear anything back from the dealership.Business response

To Whom it may concern,
We issued a check to ******************************* on Feb. 13th.Due to fraud protection on our account, checks have to be cleared through positive pay another fraud protection on our account. The day this check was supposed to be cleared our office manager was out sick. We have since wired the original balance to *********************** bank account. The wire also included an inconvenience fee.
