I took my vehicle in for repairs. Work that was done was fine. Communication was nonexistent. They charged me &****** for a part I did not need! **** at the counter acknowledged that and did nothing about it.Business response

This is in response to complaint ********. ************** did pick up her vehicle with the additional amount owed. I was the person that spoke with **************. The part in question was an emblem that was on the original estimate, and was needed to complete the repair to pre-loss condition. The issue at hand was that even though the emblem was on the original estimate the price of the emblem failed to show. We use a nationwide estimating system. This was a software issue. We apologized; however, ************** agreed to replacing the parts original estimate repair. The emblem was replaced as it was on the parts listed on the original estimate that ************** agreed to replacing. It was unfortunate that the price did not appear on the original paperwork. It is never our intention to surprise someone with new charges. We did not add a part that was not needed.
