This all started May of 2020. I had a dental procedure done. They extracted all my remaining teeth and fitted me for dentures. As time went on the original set got to big. Took months to hear from VSP for another fitting or checkup. Finally go back in to see them and the second assistant tried fitting me for another set of dentures. The second set came out crooked and off centered. I didn't like them. She has since been let go because of bad work ethics. So the dentist tried to make me a new set. The third set is not complete ,the fit is better but stick out like camel teeth. So I complained and now they are telling me I owe them 1100.00 more dollars for a relining fee. I have put over 6000.00 dollars of my own money into this procedure. Which I had to get a loan for. I do not have a wearable set of dentures. Regardless of how scheduling turned out. Between time off of work and illnesses. I do not feel they should be able to keep my money with not having wearable dentures. I apologize for not having all the dates, this has caused me so much anxiety and stress. I would like a refund for the dentures. The extractions have been done. Which was a horrible experience in itself. But I have no claim to that part for the payment. Please let me know. Thanks *****Business response

We made the first set of Dentures for her in May 2020 and she was satisfied with them. She then comes back in June 2021 and said she was not happy with them so we made a second set as a courtesy. A year later she came back in June 2022 and said not happy with the second set and she liked the first set. We offered to re-align and she refused because there was going to be a cost. We can't keep making free dentures.Customer response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, ***** ****** I was happy with the first set of Dentures but they became to big and didn't not fit. That is not my fault. When I return the assistant decided to make a new set of dentures was how she proceeded. The assistant is no longer there. I was not told at that time all they needed to do was reline them. The second set was made, and the smile line was off center and didn't look correct. With covid and work scheduling time go restricted. This is why it has taken so long. plus waiting on dentures to be finished on the office part. The last set of teeth was not even finished even though the fit was good, the teeth stuck out on the bottom. All I asked was to adjust the bottom teeth some. The fit was good and happy with that. Even if it has taken this long. All the procedures were what the dentist suggested and at NO TIME did anyone say they could have just relined the first set. Until the very last visit and it would cost 1100.00 dollars. The office already has money I paid them in full. So As I see from this letter it tells me this company is going to be able to keep my money . AS a result too, I have no teeth. I have attached images to try and help with the situation. She has the two sets of dentures and we can re-align but there will be a cost. The third set in the pictures is a temporary set were we in the process of making a third set of dentures for her. After 4 months she came back and said she didn't like the third set. We will not be making or re-aligning any more dentures for her with out a cost.Customer response
