Ordered an exhaust kit from ****** that was defective. Seller originally refused the return, then I opened a claim with ****** since I was within my 30 day return window. After accepting the return the seller only offered a partial refund on a defective part. They continue to say the part can’t be defective. I am within my rights for a full refund according to ****** policies. Bad business and does not care about its customers.Business response

Customer fully installed an exhaust system, claims it threw a 'check engine' code which is ridiculous in itself as exhaust systems cannot affect the engine in any way. We told the customer when they opened the return they would not be eligible for a full refund as per ******** refund policy, which we attached if anyone is interested. Installed and modified goods are not eligible for a full refund, no matter how upset that makes you.Customer response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. ******** return window of 30 days does not make any mention of a 50% restock fee. The seller originally refused the return at first until I opened a claim with ****** against them. ****** has since closed the claim returning my full refund due to me being within my return window and the seller not wanting to accept the return back. This goes to show the seller was in the wrong and will not admit fault. Would not recommend this seller to anyone. Regards, ******* *****Initial Complaint

Yates Performance supposidly shipped out a ford part that was said to be delivered o my house. Unfortunately I was not home at said delivery at which I did provide details that I was at work. A ***** driver forged my name and then did not leave the part. I have been going back and forth since March 10th. No part no refund.Business response

This customer's order was shipped and delivered to the address provided at checkout using ******** Buy-Shipping Service. ***** tracking # ************, signed for by the customer. The customer refused to contact ***** for more info, would rather threaten us with poor reviews and 'lawyers'.Initial Complaint

This company sold me a defective part when I mailed it back for a replacement he took it upon himself without any communication from me to just keep The product and only refunded me half of the cost of the product and kept the other half for “restocking fee “. He illegally falsified a document on ****** stating that I the customer requested the order to be canceled and for me to receive refunded money back that is completely false. This company owes me $193. I have emailed back and forth with this company trying to resolve this matter but all I get is disrespectful ignorant comments .Business response

this buyer has been charged a 50% restock fee as per ******** return policies. This buyer sent back an incorrectly assembled intake kit, damaging two components in the attempt. Installation error is not a valid reason to return an item on ******, or any selling platform. All of this was explained to the buyer multiple times.
