Hired the company to replace a sliding screen door in my condo in Falls Church. On May 10th, they came out for an estimate. May 15th, they sent an invoice for 50% ($162.50) of the total cost. It was paid the next day. On May 30th, they send the second invoice to pay the remainder. However, the door had not been installed. I told them I wasn't paying the invoice until the screen had been installed. On June 6th they send it again, and I told them the same thing. They set up a time to come that afternoon (12-3). By 5:00 pm no one had come to do the install. I called and they moved the install window to today (10-12). No one showed up. Now they will not take my calls or answer their phone. I don't know how to get the $162.50 back from them.

This business came out and gave me a quote to repair my storm door on my home. I paid $225 (50% deposit) via credit card and scheduled the repair work. They have stood me up twice, told me that they cannot refund my deposit to my credit card and can only refund me by check, and now will not answer the phone. I now see reviews on **** with the exact same scenario by multiple people - take your deposit and never show up. No refund. Don't answer the phone.

On 6/18 I called Washington Glass to get an estimate on a broken side light window. On 6/24 I received and accepted an estimate. Someone came out and measured the glass. When install was to happen, they said the wrong glass was ordered and it had to be reordered from the manufacturer. They took off our original boards and reboarded it in such an awful way and used duct tape to fill holes. This is a window company and should have been better about this. The owner received pictures and agreed. He was going to send someone out to fix the job, but that never happened. On 7/15 I inquired about the glass and if they had a time frame when it would be fixed (this is going on 3 weeks); no answer. On July 27th, the glass was finally installed, but was done with poor workmanship. The owner asked me to send pictures, which I did. He agreed it was not done properly. If this was materials purchased from the manufacturer, those parts were not used. Also, without my consent, my bank account was deducted the balance. I told them this job was not complete, I did not authorize the payment and wanted it retracted, which they did. On July 28th, the owner was supposed to come to the house to look at the job, which he did not. He said he needed to look at his schedule and get back to me. I have place numerous phone calls and text messages on August 1st, August 4th, August 10th, August 12th, August 17th, with no phone calls returns or text messages answered. I understand that my job may not be a big job or one that will pay a lot of money, but we agreed on a price to fix the job properly. This is very poor customer service. I would like for these repairs to get finalized.

I contracted this company to install glass on a exterior door . They quoted a price of 900.00 450.00 deposit. I ordered rainglass they brought out a sheet of frosted glass which I declined. The client has since ordered a new door. I requested to have my deposit refunded they told me that I lost my deposit because they had to pay for the glass. Its not fair to me to be penalized for there mistake. I'm at work and I have receipts and invoices I can upload them.later.

We contacted this business in April to install a dog door in a glass door- they sent a technician in May and charged us for labor and materials. The guy took measurements and we spent two and a half months trying to reach them about status. They did not return emails or phone calls. Finally in July they told us the door was ready but they didnt have a technician to install it so they couldnt set up an appt which was a lie they admitted to the following week when I followed up and they told me they never actually received the door. More infuriating was that they told me they couldnt refund me which is essentially theft. This scam should be reported to every consumer protection agency in the dmv so they dont take anyone elses money for materials and services they dont actually provide.
