On September 19, 2022 I was given an estimate of $8,486.40 from VA Home Repairs to rebuild my front porch. I accepted the estimate and paid a deposit of $5,091.84 dated September 20, 2022. The contract stated work would begin 2 weeks after receipt of deposit and if there were any unforeseen circumstances I would be notified as soon as they became aware of any issues. I didn't hear from the owner until September 27th informing me that they will begin work on Monday or Tuesday, October 3rd or 4th. At approximately 9:39 am, I received a text informing me that the weather was an issue and he was pushing the start date to Friday, October 7th. Friday came and went with no communications. On October 19th, I reached out with an inquiry about starting my porch. **** informed me that they would start on October 24th or 25th. Those days came and went with no communication from the business. On November 8th I requested a start date for my porch and received no answer. On November 15th, I reached out via text, email, and voice mail for a refund. I'm still waiting for a response.Customer response
