I purchased a 12x6 food trailer from the Joe the Cart Guy company on finance or leasing terms and was introduced to the Cassiel leasing company in March 2021. The purchase price of the trailer was $24670. I made a down payment of $5000 which made the purchase price down to $19670. My monthly term payments were $665 which was deducted through auto payment to *******. For 25 months I paid my bills. Cassiel changed their online payment system overtime. One rep from ******* informed me that my final payment would have been July 25, 2023. In August 2023 I sent a message through the portal to let them know to close out my account and send me any outstanding documents. To my surprise I got an email from the owner of ******* stating that my payments did not end and that I have a pay off quote of $16345. I was floored thinking that I am on my way out of debt. He told me the information is in the contract that I signed and I can return the trailer if needs be. This has just been devastating for me because not only was I fooled but now I am stuck with paying double the price for the trailer that was supposed to be for $26470. I feel as a female entrepreneur I was taken advantaged of in the most unfair way. I used my last to support my mother's business and to come up on serious unfairness like this I am warning other female small business owners. I work hard for everything I have in life and to be blind sighted like this, its highly discouraging. I am hoping some type of solution can come from this thinking of overpaying for an item with so much money is very unfair.

My business partner and I started a smoothie and juice business called the Lighthouse Project in 2021. We decided to move forward with a food trailer model. We purchased a custom-built trailer from Joe the Cart Guy.Contract was signed on April 15, 2022. We were guaranteed a finished trailer by ******. It wasnt finished until the second week of November. The issue at hand is that we still have not received the title for the trailer. The last correspondence we have regarding the title is a text message from February 15th, 2023. Since then weve called, texted and emailed without response. My last message was an email and text from this morning stating that we would get legal representation if we dont get a response by this Friday at 10am. Once we receive our final health inspection this week, we should be ready to operate. We just need the title. We were instructed to contact the BBB for further assistance. Please contact us if you can help us in any way.Thank you.

5/24/22 I ordered a food truck from this company. They estimated 6-8 weeks, and its been more like 20. I understand that supply chains are really slow right now but they refuse to answer the phone, respond to emails or open the door of their store. I have found multiple different people that have claimed that hes never delivered (over a year and a half later). They were using a fraudulent leasing company (Cassiel Rentals Leasing program) per other reports. He has stolen hundreds of thousand of dollars from people with no response or communication. I have made multiple attempts at contacting them through calls, emails and stop ins all to no avail. Please help us!
