We returned a set of tires that we purchased, and the credit was processed in early November. I called and asked for a check to be mailed to us for the refund amount because we don't purchase from this business a lot. ******* at Justice Tire told me that they don't issue checks for refunds on charge accounts unless the money has been sitting there for a year. I then asked to close my account and they agreed. I asked how long until I should receive my check and they told me 1-2 weeks. This was at the end of November. I have since called several times. I spoke to a guy named **** who said he'd look into it and call me back, but nobody ever did. I also reached out to our account representative (**** ****** - who in the process of this left the business - but on good terms and still has great rapor with the staff). ***** told him that they were going to reach out to me (but again never did). A few days ago I thought I'd try one last time so I called and asked for *****. **** answered the phone and said ***** wasn't in that he could help. When I explained the situation again he said ****** was the best person to help. She wasn't in either but would be in later in the day and he would have her call me. Again I have received no communication.Business response

The customer (now former customer) called to request to close the account and have a check cut for a credit that was on the account. This is typically not our policy to cut checks to customers for credits on the account. After reviewing the account I noticed this customer pulled this stunt before where they requested a check to be cut for a credit on the account, only to contiue to do business with us, not much business but still was purchasing tires. Again, our policy has always been to not cut checks to customers. A check has been cut and sent to the customer and the account is permanetly closed.
