Date of transaction 4/11/2023 Purchased a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) vehicle from Midpoint GMC. They never disclosed that the prior owner was in possession of the other key fob remote during this transaction. I test drove the vehicle and signed the papers, the dealer delivered the car to me 2 days later. The delivery man asked me to sign for the vehicle, which I did. At that point he gave me only one key fob . This was the first indication there was only one key fob. I asked him where the other key fob was and he laughed at me and said this is all he was given. I immediately called the salesman ****** ***. knew all about this and told me the prior owner still had it. I wish he had disclosed this to me prior to purchase as I would have held off buying it until this dealership made a new key fob. (Which would deactivate the one the prior owner still has as well). It is not a good feeling knowing there is a live key fob out there that gives someone access to my vehicle, and I don't know who they are or where they are. I have asked both the salesman (**) and the General Sales Manager (**) about this issue. They only said they asked the prior owner about it and never heard back. I have asked multiple times for them to send me another key fob with the key cut for the vehicle. Crickets so far. Buyer beware of this place! I want this dealership to send me a keyfob with the key cut for this vehicle, as should have been done before I even purchased it.Business response

This responds to the complaint filed by ******* ******.We have ordered a new key for Mr. ******. When we receive it we will contact Mr. ****** so that he can bring his vehicle in and we can program the key.We have spoken with Mr. ****** about this and understand he is satisfied.Please let us know if you need additional information.Customer response
