On the evening of September 6,2022 my partner and I ordered 2 pizzas from the &pizza in Springfield,VA (order ***, ready for pickup at 9:44. Upon eating the pizza, I spit out a large fingernail that had been lodged under the topping. I was mortified and disgusted!! I took a photo of the nail and immediately tried to call the restaurant. Because &Pizza is unable to be contacted by phone or email, I drove back to Virginia to the very location with the remaining pizza and nail to be told there were no managers on hand. I spoke to a man who called himself Shazad who wrote his name as well as the district manager’s name “Kali M****” on receipt paper and told me I would be contacted. I used the text hashtag #service as well and was reassured later in the week that I should expect a management call in 24-48hrs. I’ve yet to make contact 1 full week later. Today after texting I was made aware the district manager followed up with the store, essentially resolving the conflict without once contacting the victim of this ordeal. Ridiculous business practice as well as poor health practices ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC.
