ON MAY 21, 2022, I WITH MY FAMILY ARRIVED AT COMFORT INN HOTEL IN STAUNTON, VA. I HAD RESERVATION FOR THAT DAY ONE ROOM FOR ONE NIGHT. THEN I CHECKED IN SECOND ROOM FOR FRIENDS. ON MAY 22,2022, ICHECKED OUT PAID FOR TWO ROOMS. THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT, I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR THREE ROOMS. I CALLED TO THE HOTEL RIGHT AWAY. THE MANAGER WAS NOT HELPFULL FOR HIS EXPLANATION BUT HE TOLD ME THAT CHOICE HOTEL CHARGED ME NOT HIM. I TRIED TO CALL CHOICE HOTEL TO NO AVAIL DIFFICULT TO CONNECT BY PHONE. THAT IS WHEN I DECIDED TO REACH BBB. I HOPE TO CLARIFY THE STUATION. THE ROOMS RATE THAT I HAVE PAID ARE $194.88 AND $200.48. THE ROOM THAT I AM OVERCHARGED AMOUNT IS $205.23. THAT MAKES THIRD ROOM WHICH I AM NOT AWARE OF. THANKS, ***** * *******Business response

I have adjusted the charge and refunded the customer the 205.23 and sent them an email with the receipt.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Regards, ***** *******
