Shiner Exteriors was the easy choice for replacing my roof and gutters after getting estimates from seven companies. The estimator was thorough, knowledgeable, and educated me on what was needed and what my options were but I never felt like he was pushing a sale or unneeded "upgrades". The estimate they sent was by far the most detailed and I had no worries about getting stuck with additional costs once the crew was on site. They also helped me navigate getting a small insurance claim for weather damage to the metal parts (vents, fan cover, etc.).The roofing crew showed up 40 minutes early and got straight to work. These guys busted tail on a 95+ degree hot summer day and were done by 4pm. The gutters were done the next day with the same skill and efficiency.Add to all this that they were the least expensive of the companies that gave full quotes (two companies were cheaper but left things as TBD based on what they would find during installation).I would, and already have, recommend Shiner Exteriors.

Shiner Exteriors did an excellent job, again. Their representative addressed the problem directly and never pressured me to do a larger than needed job. Workers were punctual and efficient and cleaned up spotlessly afterward. They provided photos of their work so I could see what they had done. From the moment we met with Phil to discuss our front porch project and provide his estimate, we had a good feeling Shiner Exteriors would be our number 1 pick. His attention to detail, candidness, expertise, and his ability to listen and meet our needs was noteworthy. His crew were punctual, hard working and had excellent craftsmanship. Shiner is professional and competent and they get my support all the time. They put on a new roof for me about 10 years ago that also involved fixing a broken rafter and replacing all the plywood. I also asked them to cut a skylight into my living room. So, it was the whole package, along with new insulation and shingles, of course. They did an outstanding job. By some miracle, they used a process that captured all of the nails and old roofing materials. They worked efficiently, they worked fast, and they worked clean. Just recently, I asked them to come out and check the flashing around the chimney after a different company doing a repair to my chimney insisted on a roofing inspection. The flashing around the chimney was fine, but the chimney company had damaged the integrity of the carport roof by nailing holes into it to secure their scaffolding. Shiner had my back in this instance and replaced the damaged shingles. I recommend Shiner to friends and neighbors and they will always be my first choice.Review from Larry C

We selected Shiner for our roof replacement after initially dealing with another roofing contractor. It was like night and day. Shiner's rep provided us with a detailed estimate, explained the process, and answered all of our questions. Their price was very competitive. Also, several trusted friends recommended them based on their own experience with them. We could not have been more pleased with the results. The Shiner team showed up on time, was very respectful of our property, took all necessary precautions when removing roof debris, and finished the job on time and on budget. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Shiner and I highly recommend them to anyone in our area who needs roofing/exterior work performed.Review from Nolly J

After several research, we finally hired Shiners Roofing to do our roof, gutters and siding. From the quote up to the completion of the entire job, we are very satisfied with the result. We have an old house that now looks new. From the project manager down to the last crew everybody is very professional. Very honest and thorough in letting us know any problems and recommendations as the work progress. Will surely hire Shiners Roofing again for any project.
