      I purchased a 2012 Chrysler ******************************** ******** of off ***************** on 03/29/2022. I have had multiple issues with my vehicle since the day I purchased it. When I purchased the vehicle I asked if there was any issues with it and they stated no its a grest car! Which was a lie to make a sale off of me. They legally have to let me know any issues they have experienced or the pervious owner had and I got told nothing. I did take my car in the next day to have it checked out for the transmission and they said everything was perfectly fine, although I was experiencing hard shifts between 3rd and 4th gear. They charged me $100 for diagnostics and my vehicle was only in the shop for about 45 minuets give or take. While I was also there, I mentioned that I can smell my exhaust in my vehicle when I turn it on in the mornings, they also said this was normal. Which it is not. My car has issues shifting from 3rd to 4th gear and they also stated that is normal and it is a Chrysler just how they drive. I ended up taking it back when a different manager was there and he did see that my car was experiencing the same issues that I described with my vehicle at this point. Along with transmission issues, the key that I received from the dealership was bent and I expressed concern about this when I purchased my vehicle and they told me I could pay $75.00 out of pocket to replace the key. After that I had issues with my car not wanting to turn on with my key, and I let the dealership know that I need a replacement key and they did give that to me, and I did complain about the $100 charge but they did give that back to me. 3 weeks ago, I was driving my car and my car just shut off on me in traffic and I called both locations (******** and Aberdeen) and they told me to use my warranty and to deal with it that way, and there is nothing they could do for me since I did already purchase my vehicle. My headlights started smoking when trying to replace them.

      ************ purchased a vehicle from us in March of 2022. At the time of purchase ************ purchased a service contract for his vehicle. ************ did bring in his vehicle shortly after he purchased it stating he felt it was shifting odd and it was checked out by the shop and determined that nothing was wrong at that time. If ************ is having an issue with his headlight we would encourage him to contact his warranty company.

      This is not the acceptable response from a business. Taking responsibility for selling me a messed up car and ignoring ALL OF MY COMPAINTS ABOUT THE SAFTEY OF MY VEHICLE. There has been multiple issues with this car from the MOMENT i got it. You guys are FRAUDS.  There needs to be something done about this., Take some credibility in the car you sold me.  I will want my deposit back at this point to pay for the repairs on my car.

       That is all I am asking for now. I want mt $3,500 deposit back. 
       And we can call it even.

      On 8-28-21 I purchased a 2017 Hyndai Santa Fe from Car Stars. Total sales price with the financing was $25630.56. I did not drive the car home as I wanted to try to secure my own financing. I was not told that they had already gotten financing from ******************* after checking with several other banks and my credit rating took a hit. They delivered the car to me at home and less than a week later, the oil light came on and the car was making quite a bit of noise. I did not take their warranty as it was very expensive and this car looked so good, little did I think that it wouldn't last a week. We tried to talk to them and get some relief but they wouldn't budge! I took it to ****************** in ******* and after a very thorough going over, they told me in their opinion, the car should not have been driven off the lot. I have made 2 payments on the car now another one is due, I do not want to hurt my credit anymore. I spent $2000 to a lawyer to see if he could help me. I guess because I signed the as-is sold without warranty, I am out of luck. How can this be right? The car lot said the best they could do was give me a warranty at their cost and then I could get whatever was wrong with it fixed. I did not trust them at this point. I still have nothing in my name as registered owner, I don't even know if they paid the sales tax at this point. They didn't supply my license plates, so even if I wanted to drive the car, legally I can't. My husband has cancer and is going to chemo and radiation and we have just the one car.I am a senior and have not had to even think about buying a car for 19 yrs. so I guess they saw me coming. I know they knew that car was not right and just wanted to get it off their lot. They didn't fix the windshield crack, they were supposed to. I just can't make over $350 monthly on a car I can't even drive or in good faith try to sell etc. In my defense I have to say that the car looks great inside and out, till you look much deeper.

      In response to complaint filed by ***********************, the 2017 ******* Santa Fe was inspected prior to sale. A few weeks after the vehicle sold, the customer contacted us regarding an issue she was having. At that time we offered to do a diagnostic and repair the issue. The customer stated she did not trust us and threatened to call law enforcement. The customer then took their vehicle to a different shop and at that time we offered yet again to pay for an engine. Customer declined this as well. Customer then hired an attorney,this resulted in my having to hire an attorney as well. Between ************** and myself, we have far exceeded any repair costs in paying our respective attorneys. At this time, any good faith effort we had to help in repairs has since been lost.  Tell us why here...

      The dealership stated that I returned several weeks later-It was actually one week. I purchased the car on 8-29-21 and the following  week end when my daughter and son in law were here from *****, we drove back to the lot and tried to talk to them. The oil light was coming and the car was making a racket when started.

      We told the dealer that we wanted to take the car to an independant shop to check it out as yes, we didn't trust them to see what the problem was, as they had checked the vehicle when they took in back in March of 21 and checked everything okay.

      The owner father started getting snarky with us, we were just trying to get info etc. and that's when my daughter stated, maybe we

      should call the police.

      They knew the engine was bad, that's why they stated "yet again we offered to put in a new engine. 

      I may have been very naive when dealing with these people and yes I hired an attorney but if they HAD offered me a new engine, I would have taken it.

      They still have not done their DUE DILLIGENCE and provided me with the license plates I paid for or any paperwork on the vehicle. The car has sat outside my home for over 3 months, I can't drive it and I am making payments on it and keeping the insurance up on it. I demand the plates. 

      They said that they hired an attorney because I did, I think probably the way they do business, they have their's on speed dial!

      Did I mention I am almost 79 yrs. old and my husband is going through chemo and radiation and I have no back up transportation as my truck was broken into and had to be towed to the shop.

      The car lot finally sent me my license plates, I received them Christmas Eve. The check for a refund on the registration fees, was dated 10-4-21 They have had the plates since Sept. they should have been mailed to me when they received them, thats standard procedure! I had no way to go get them, I couldn't drive the car and my husband was in cancer treatment every day. We have been snowed in and it has been really rough for us. 

      I can't believe these people are getting away with treating us like this. They have lied from the get go. They did not say they would replace the motor, far from it, if they had, I would have jumped on the offer instead of hiring an attorney.
