      I booked a road tour with YMT Vacations on October 8, 2019 for dates 10/20-5/23/20.The trip was paid in full by 1/03/20. I received an email on April 3, 2020 informing me that the trip had been cancelled due to COVID-19. When I asked about a refund I was told that the company does not do refunds and that I would have to be credited for a future trip. I called again and on a later date and was told again that I would have to get credit for a trip the COMPANY CANCELLED. I was told I had two years to schedule another trip.(4/9/22)This same tour was booked on 03/16/22 and an additional $100.00 had to be paid for an increase in air fare.Once again, the trip has been cancelled.I received a phone call and was told about another date in September. I told them this date was not conducive for me to travel and I preferred to to get a refund. I was told to send a request in writing. This was sent on May 1, 2022.I have not gotten a response as of yet(05/24/22). I have called several times and and told that they would let a manager know I had called(since a manager is who has to review the request). I called again and the person I spoke with told me to resend the request to her and she would make sure to get it to the manager.My sister has also called several times also. When asked to speak to a manager she was told they were all on other lines. When asked when would be the best time to talk with a manger she was told they were always in meetings.This company is just giving me the run around about giving me a refund and wants me to schedule another vacation with them at a future date. I know longer want to travel with this company. I only want MY MONEY REFUNDED for a service they can not provide at the time period that is convenient for me. PERIOD.

Please know that we have been experiencing high call volumes which has impacted our ability to respond as quickly as we would like. However, I understand that you have recently been able to connect with a ***** Services Manager and come to a resolution. Thank you for your feedback.

      I have been denied the return of $500 that was my registration fee for a trip to **** in 2020 (June-July). I informed YMT that I because I was at risk for COVID, I could not travel to **** (or anywhere). I was told that the $500 could not be returned but that I could use it to book another trip within the next year. I informed the CA office in early 2021 that I obviously still could not travel (and wasn't vaccinated until March). I asked for a refund of my $500. I got no response. I contacted the *** office in *******, ** a couple of months ago because I am in need of the $500 and still at high risk for COVID complications. My request was denied because I was told I had not cancelled a 2021 trip before the time limit. (I had.) I I had a high opinion of this company because of a wonderful trip to Ireland in 2018, but I have been very disappointed in the way it has dealt with COVID and travel to high risk countries, such as ****.
