April 10, 2024 I took my car in for detail. They hit some of the hard plastic by my seats with arm of the drill they used and it chewed up spots. They cleaned and detailed the exterior of my car too. It is now covered in what looks like spiderwebs. Their response was it happens or it was like that. It was not like that when I took my car in. I took it to another detailer to get their opinion. They informed me that my car is damaged. It appears Honda buffed fiberglass or something into the clear coat of my car by using a dirty pad, the wrong pad or the wrong towels to clean it up.Business response

We are sorry to read about the dissatisfaction from the customer, this is a known issue that was addressed and investigated right away by all parties on staff, including management. It was determined there was no way this could be done by our staff, or any product used by our staff, we detail hundreds of vehicles a month and never had seen a vehicles paint look like this after work is completed. We are willing to offer a partial refund of the exterior portion of the detail, due to dissatisfaction not an acceptance of fault, as this was clearly a pre-existing issue.Customer response

I purchased a new 2023 Honda CR-V on 2-11-2023. The financing for my vehicle was handled by *************************. During the document signing process an offer for window treatment/warranty coverage was offered at a cost of $788 plus tax. I felt pressured to add this as ***** told me the insurance companies were no longer going to offer low deductibles for glass coverage. Based on this statement I elected to add the coverage. During the following week I called my insurance company to confirm and they stated there were no pending changes for glass coverage. There was no benefit in having this 5 year warranty coverage based on what my insurance policy covers.I did attempt to contact Burlington Honda but was told by ************ had no recourse. It is super unfortunate what started out as a fantastic experience with **** is ending like this.Business response
