They are asking me to pay a non-refundable application before they let me tour a property they have listed. This application is $50 a person. So for two of us they are asking for $100 just to view a house. What if we dont like the home? We lose $100. Everywhere I researched it says to pay when you apply for the home. This has always been the case. There are numerous other reviews that ask where their $ went and say they never even ran credit. I got the emails from this lady. Also, when asked about this procedure she replies" if you are uncomfortable with this process maybe this isnt for you." **** right, im uncomfortable with this process! Especially since ive viewed homes just yesterday without having to put any $ down to just view or apply. Also, she states do it cause houses are flying these days. The home I inquired about has been on the market for 60 days?? Especially after reading others reviews im glad I did not fall for this comical gimmick. This is so wrong. I could have easily lost my $100 just to view a home. I almost think this magnificent home they have listed is fake just to get people to apply. Does seem to good to he true.. Hmmm?

I would like to address your comments, offer some explanation of why policies are currently the way they are, as well as offer alternate perspectives for your consideration. Our policies prior to Covid were much different than they are now, and we hope they can return to pre-Covid policies as soon as possible.During these past couple years since Covid and with the new and frequently changing State mandates requirements, we have continually revised our policies and procedures in order to attempt to fit the needs, requests and safety of all applicants, renters, property owners and vendors. Many having differing risk tolerance levels for health and safety. In general, we have been able to meet most peoples needs very well, however, there are some challenges such as you had experienced. For that I apologize, and I would be happy to discuss with you over a phone call if you wish.Respectfully, it is incorrect to state that this is a gimmick or way to falsely collect funds; that is simply inaccurate. These policies are certainly not false and are not meant to inconvenience or cause you disturbance. We hope that these processes will soon return to more flexible and open policies and procedures that we had prior to Covid. Everyone has been affected in different ways and we ask for patience and understanding through this time.
