Seattle Party Rental was contacted by myself to rent a mechanical bull for 3 hours on 8/12/2022 beginning at 7 pm and ending at 10 pm. The agreement was for $400.00 through venmo for deposit, and the remaining balance ($200) paid with cash on delivery. The business was over an hour late arriving, set equipment up very quickly, gave VERY BRIEF explanation of how to operate that didn't sound safe, took cash, and left in a hurry. Upon trying to use the mechanical bull, it would spin extremely fast but would not "buck." This made the bull useless. Owner was contacted immediately and would not respond. I also contacted the owner the next day, also would not respond. I tried to message the owner and offered to let him keep the $200 cash to pay for his employees having to work as long as he refunded the $400 deposit. Still no response. I tried 8/15/2022, 8/16/2022 and 8/17/2022 and still no resolution. Now I would like my whole refund of $600.00 and action taken against the business. I have reached out to my bank and also venmo regarding this issue. I also have approximately ***** witnesses who can support my claim. Thank you.
