      I would like to report Light Dental Studios (of Puyallup, Bonney Lake, and ******) for their harrasment and erroneous billing through a collection service, also retaliation for me as a customer leaving a bad review. I could not get service unless I had paid all bills in full. But Light Dental Studios continue to email, call, mail, and visit my properties to collect an exorbitant amount that I had already paid for. I need them and their agents to stop contacting me altogether since I had paid all dental work winter of 2023 in full.I do not wish my personal information such as phone number and email shared with Light Dental Studios, fearing more retaliation. However, I do request BBB investigate this merchant and remove their BBB certification. I am able to cooperate in providing all evidence.Thanks

      Light Dental Studios is a locally and privately owned dental group that has a 50+ year history in the *********** region. We pride ourselves on affordability and convenience delivered to our patients with exceptional care as reflected in our 4.8 ****** rating. This complaint is taken seriously and has been fully evaluated to see where we failed with Ms. ***** Dental care is not the most pleasant of experiences and the cost to receive care is not insignificant.The submitted documents and balance submitted to a collections agency is an amount Ms. **** agreed to pay to finish treatment at discounted cost. Not only do we have signed treatment plans/financial agreements both at the start and mid-treatment, but Ms. **** paid the balance with a credit card. She received this dental care knowing she would later contest the charge resulting in free care from our dentists and multiple dental specialists. We feel confident in the quality of care provided to Ms. **** as well as the transparency in billing and would be more than happy to provide those records. We do not agree that billing a patient for services rendered at the time of treatment or later via standard monthly mailed statements (x3) and a final certified letter via **** is harassment. We responded promptly to any of Ms. ***** email requests. She was offered financial and/or clinical consults regarding her concerns which she declined to accept. The accusation of visiting her properties is false and has never been done by any current or former Light Dental Studios employee. We are sorry that Ms. **** is dissatisfied with what has transpired, but we feel comfortable with how this situation has been managed such that we can continue to provide affordable and quality care to the thousands of loyal dental patients who continue to seek their dental care at Light Dental Studios.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      My credit score nears 800 and I have never had a business complain about my paying an ENTIRE BALANCE at once. Not only is Light Dental Studios acknowledging that I paid my balance in full of about $6000+ to get dental work done, but they sent a collection agency after me?!! I withdrew all of my disputes through my credit card, which I have every right to do so when the dental work was problematic and ignored. I was certainly never offered any financial and/or/clinical consults and could not very well accept or decline them. I never received mail or certified letter from Light Dental Studios. In fact, not only did Light Dental Studios ignore my requests to address/correct shoddy dental work, but see letters from my credit card company about crediting back Light Dental Studios on disputes: $2270 on 11/12/22, $679 on 11/2/22, and $899 on 11/2/22. Light Dental Studios needs to check the funds reversed to them by my credit card company instead of repeatedly asking me to pay this supposed contested amount and sending collection(?!) after me. Light Dental Studios is a nasty, vindictive enterprise who takes patients money and run despite leaving unaddressed dental issues scarring patients. Remove Light Dental Studios BBB certification.

      Light Dental Studios cares very much that ***** is not happy with her care both paid and unpaid as it is our goal to exceed expectations for every patient. It is excellent care provided by several dental specialists and dentists who graduated in the top of their classes with very positive patient reviews. We would encourage ***** to reach out to schedule for any follow up that she feels is necessary for the care provided as we do stand behind our work and have quality assurance practices in place. Financially collections agency would not pursue a balance that are not backed by appropriate documentation. ***** is encouraged to reach out if she has documentation otherwise as there may be an issue with her card or bank. Without the ability to post supporting documentation due to HIPAA and PCI regulations to which we strictly adhere, we have stated all we are willing regarding the care and finances.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      Light Dental Studios rejected and ignored Numerous attempts to schedule follow up after problems discovered shortly after extensive dental  work. Not only do I deserve to be refunded for a significant portion of the $6000+ I paid light dental BEFORE dental work could be done, but Light Dental is trying to double the charges by sending collection agency (?!) after me for debt I do not owe! Do not use this dental group and remove their bbb certification immediately!

      Was I, or was I not, specifically cornered into an office with light dental Puyallup manager ***** to go over all balance and who insisted that I pay the entire balance before I may get any  dental work done?

      Did I, or did I not, withdraw disputes with light dental through my credit card company?

      Yes and absolutely yes.

      Light Dental needs to stop all contact with me. I have paid all balance in full.
