I have been a season ticket holder for 13 years. On August 19, I notified *************************, my account manager via email that I no longer wanted to renew our tickets. She called on 8/22 to discuss and offered a Flex Membership instead. I told her I would discuss with my partners and we agreed to talk on 8/29. We talked and I told her I was not interested in the Flex Membership or in renewing our tickets for the **** season. (I am paid in full for this year). On 8/22 ******* had send me an online link to a form that Sounders wanted me to complete to cancel. No timeline was indicated in this email. On 8/30, ******* emailed me again and said the form needed to be completed by noon tomorrow. At this time, I was out of the country on a cruise ship in International waters heading up to ******. I had no access to internet on the boat. I was able to use a computer on the boat to attempt to fill out their form, but was a couple hours past noon and the form was no longer available. I called ******* once we reached port and I had cell service to tell her the situation and she indicated there was nothing she could do and I would be obligated to purchase the season tickets and my credit card would be charged that night. The card number they had on my file was invalidated so they could not collect. I received notice on 9/1 that I owed money and needed to update my credit card. I have heard nothing since, so I called ******* today (9/25) to confirm that I was not renewing. She said I still owed the money and there was nothing she could do. I told her I was not paying and she said my tickets would be given to another person for non-payment. I asked if this would affect my credit score or standing. She did not know but indicated if I ever wanted to buy Sounders tickets again, this would be noted on my account and not favorable.I am beside myself in frustration. I notified them in writing of my desire to non-renew, had multiple conversations with my acct manager so clearly the Sounders were aware of my desire to cancel our season tickets. I could not complete the form as I did not have access to the internet, and told her I would complete it as soon as I could. Nothing. They still feel I owe them for season tickets that do not even start until March of ****! I will not pay, but I do not want my credit or standing to be affected by this. This is absolutely terrible customer service for a 13 year season ticket holder.

Requested cancellation of my season tickets now three times. All times have been told that's not possible. Instead I proceeded to cancel a renewal for the subsequent season, of which that request was ignored and I continue to be charged.First request for cancellation was 9/17/22 to *********************** - he has since left the Seattle Sounders organization. This then was handed off to ***************************** on 10/3/22 - which had been escalated to his manager who insisted I cannot cancel because I missed the deadline (and apparently it's my fault the contact that was supposed to own my account (***********************) had left the company when I requested the cancellation prior to the deadline), only change the tickets for the rest of the season. I did that, and was assured I wouldn't be setup for auto renewal and get into another cancellation lock. Now its 2023 and I have season tickets again (they did not honor their word to not renew my tickets for the new season) ... and I have been handed off to ***********************, *************************** and now ***************************. As of today 4/4/23 I have informed them of my intent to file a complaint with the BBB as I am continuing to be charged and not allowed to cancel.Although I love the Seattle Sounders and MLS in general, this situation has been frustrating to say the least - I am disappointed in the Sounders FC Staff and their predatory practices locking season ticket holders in.Originally I was only looking for a cancellation but as this issue has persisted and I feel wronged, I am now also looking for a Refund.
