      We paid the man 500 to simple fix leak in trailer roof. It began to leak again and we could tell he wasnt happy and got tough to work with. He 'fixed" it again and it failed again. We expressed our concerns over the phone and then he sent me text threatening to take home if we dont pay more for something he didnt fix. We have no means to fix the leak or take him to court.

      April 28th: first contacted John wayne contracting to replace screws on my leaky metal roof. We agreed to $750 down on his start date of May 4th, and $1850 upon completion, same day. He arrived May 4th, I left for work. The company I work for was interested in hiring him as well, so he meet me at my work when he got done with my roof. I paid him in full before he left. He also got a down payment from my supervisor for s**** replacement on our shop roof. I got home from work that evening and went up to check out john Wayne's work. I didn't see bur a handful of new screws replaced, and all the old screws were still sticking up as far as 1/2 inch! He never even got up on the roof! He went as fr as he could reach without getting off the ladder. I took pics immediately. After complaining to him that I didn't get what I paid him for, he said I hired him for his experience and if my roof still leaks he'd do a complete s**** replacement,(what I already paid him to do!). And when he was done with my roof, he'd go and finish the roof at my work that he started and never finished.May 26th-he let me know he'd be over to do my roof when he finished a job in *******.June18th- I reminded him that he took the tarp off my roof on May 4th, and roof is leaking causing more damage to structure and our personal belongings. No response.July 2nd- I messaged him again. No response.July 4th- messaged him threatening legal proceedings from my work and myself. He responded we were his #1 priority when he finishes his current job.August 8th- he contacted me and said he would be giving me mywork(Cement ****************** a discount/refund $1000 each for him being 'untimely'..Sept 6th- I messaged him stating I was in a meeting with my bosses discussing go forth with legal proceedings since there has been minimal contact with him and nothing but empty promises. No response Sept 23rd- he messaged me said he'd get back to me soon with exact days he'd be here.Nov 3rd- still waiting. And RAIN

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I messaged John on September 6th asking for a date for him to complete both jobs,my roof and CDI's, he finally responded back on September 23rd, saying he'd be in contact with me regarding exact date he would be able to finish both jobs. I haven't heard from him since. I paid him in full 6 months ago, now it's November,  severe rainstorms, and I still have a leaking roof!

      It is your responsibility as a homeowner to tarp your roof. Your roof has a warranty not a guarantee. I will shoot you another message.

      I am rejecting this response because: you said you were going to contact me numerous times to set a time to finish the job I paid you to do, I still have not heard from you, neither has CDI,  ive been waiting 6 months for you to complete this job and you havent given me or CDI the  time of day, so I would like $2,000 refunded back to me, and CDI would like you to contact them for their refund as well. If you could do this in a timely manner, that'd be appreciated. Thank you!
