The invoice states they removed and replaced my catilitc converter. When I picked up the car they informed me they. Only repaired my catilitc converter and that the same one was still on my car . They also say they fixed my exhaust leak and it has the same exhaust leak. Now they claim my engine is toast. But when I took it in there was nothing wrong with the engine. It has never overheated but now since I picked it up it has started to get hot a few times. I paid them $600 for repairs and for what.? And they blew my engine on a road test.. I just paid $3000 for my car. I want $3600!!Business response

Hi *******, our stance on this issue is to deny any refund. The invoice lists Remove and replace catalytic converter as a labor operational, no part supply is listed as no part was replaced, the converter had to be removed for access to gaskets that were leaking. The vehicle was in very poor shape and her invoice clearly states that as well as description of repairs found and diagnosis performed. ***** demeanor and attitude when they picked up the vehicle was unacceptable and we would prefer to have no further contact with them.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: when I spoke with the mechanic on the phone before any work was done he said my catalytic converter was shot and it needs replaced. Also the invoice that I had to approve before they went ahead and did any work clearly states the catalytic converter was to be removed and replaced. I know it don't take 4 hours to remove a catalytic converter . So to say you charged me only for labor that would be over $200.00 an hour. That don't add up.Anyone would have been beside themselves when a so called " professional mechanic" tells you they " REPAIRED" you're catalytic converter. And let's not forget my car never even overheated till I got it back from them. And not to mention there is still exhaust leaks where they said they had fixed it.
Sincerely,
