Our central air conditioning went out on the afternoon of Friday, July 5th. I called All Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning the following day. A technician came out to evaluate on that day (Saturday). He replaced a capacitor (though he could not locate the one removed when he told me about it), and planned to order a fan motor. This would hopefully arrive in 4-6 days. My wife and I called intermittently to check on if the part was ordered and if it had arrived. We spoke with a parts employee in 2 days; he was noncommital if he had ordered the part and when it might arrive. I spoke with a secretary two days later who said she would pass on a message. My wife and I went to All Seasons in-person on Wednesday 7/10 and spoke with another employee to try to get some answers. Of note, these events were during a marked heat wave, with temperatures most days near or above 100 degrees. I left a message on 7/12 that went to a voicemail. On Monday, 7/15, a technician came out with the new fan motor, but then concluded we needed a new blade mechanism as well, which would hopefully arrive in 2 days. We were not contacted two days later (7/17). On 7/18, I called and spoke with the parts employee and was told that maybe this part would be here soon.In summary, though I was grateful to have someone come out the day I called, waiting an additional two weeks, during record temperatures, with minimal communication and a missed initial diagnosis, has been very frustrating. I purchased a portable AC unit which can keep one bedroom cool, but the remainder of the house has been as high a temperature as 91 degrees, which is not safe long-term for our family or our dog. We do not plan on using All Seasons ever again.Business response

Dear ****************,
I have carefully reviewed your concerns regarding the service call at your home. As you mentioned, this unfortunately occurred during a period of extended high temperatures. Mistakes were made, and it seems that you slipped through the cracks. However, these circumstances do not excuse the lack of communication you experienced. As with all our customers, we take your feedback seriously; therefore, we are taking steps to improve our efficiency and communication.
Although we received your check in the mail, we will be returning it to you and writing off the balance on your account. Your experience fell short of the quality of service we strive to provide to our customers. I apologize for not meeting your service expectations. If you have any further questions or concerns, I would be happy to discuss them with you anytime.
Sincerely,
*************************, President
