I bought a hot tub from this company brand new. I received it late August 2021 I've had to call several times for service as it was leaking after it was delivered but not moved to another spot *** the manager called screaming and yelling today. I did contact the owner down in waukesha about this They are refusing to come out and repair the hot tub. I spent $10,000 on this spa just for them to be playing games. I'm a disabled veteran this should not be happening They were supposed to come out 2 days before I was leaving for Europe but made excuses and then the office made an appointment to come out and fix knowing that I was gone The manager while screaming at me said he tried to call me but when I tried to tell him that I was in Europe he got even more irate The person in his office knew and told me I didn't have to be home The problem wasn't fixed and made things worse. When I finally got home and saw how bad it was still leaking I called this company They said we will be out next week Well on Tuesday I called and was told they couldn't make it then they rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday came and they called saying they couldn't make it out and it would take another 2 weeks before they could get someone out here. This is bull c*** I have spent to much money just to have a severely leaking hot tub sitting on my front porch I'm ready to file a lawsuit but will give the BBB a chance to resolve thisBusiness response

I have been emailing back and forth with you all morning. We cannot show up unless you make a service appointment, which you were refusing to do. My last email you said you will have them come out, so we should be able to get the issue resolved now that you will make an appointment.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear beI have been trying to get this company to fix the problem for over a month and Ben the manager made the leak worse
I have tried too many times to get this company out here to fix this leak. I have talked with the owner ***** and still nothing
***** told me to email *** in ******** which I did for service after been was yelling on the phone this morning and I have witnesses to that phone call
I haven't been able to get this company to come out for repairs because everytime the schedle something they make excuses on why they cannot come out and it will be another 2 weeks of waiting to get another person to come out
By that time it will be 2 months trying to get this problem fixed
They have cancelled on me 4 times in the last 5-6 weeks and two of those were just this past week

A hot tub was purchased on August 2018. Since that time we have had to the tub serviced 5 times and each time the technician could not find a viable reason why the components on the hot tub had gone bad. The hot tub stopped working again two days ago (again for no apparent reason). We have reached out to the company requesting that they come and get the hot tub and give us a buy back amount. They are resisting this resolution. We could sell the hot tub outright but do not feel that is fair to whomever would but it as we feel it will continue to have regular service issues.Business response

We apologize for any issues that you have, but we do not just refund money and pick up the spa if there is an issue. They have been separate issues, including one of them the motor being plugged up. If something is wrong with the spa, it can be fixed. Please call to arrange service.Customer response

I do not accept this response, however, I no longer wish to pursue this claim a I feel it is futile because the company will not concede that there is an issue with the hot tub manufacturing. I will pursue my complaint in court.

We had put a $3000.00 deposit down on a hot tub that we wanted for therapeutic for my health issues.We had done that in May 2021, as it was a deal from covid that it wouldn't be made until this year.I had lost my job months after and told them that and said it be here as we couldn't cancel it.It wasn't made and we should of been able to cancel. I had explained to them that due to this we are in a financial situation that we can't afford it. When we bout this our sale man said our payments would start in February. So we thought ok that will help us. Then they called to delivery it end of January and said that it had to be paid in full. We didn't know that and we tried getting loans etc to pay of the balance almost $7000.They won't refund us our money per our contract and we weren't expecting this and never said nothing when I had sent emails and took for ever for him to respond. I had to send several emails before he respond and then say it will be coming next year. I told him we wanted to cancel it and get a refund as I lost my job and it wasn't even made.Now they said only option is they send it back and keep our $3000 deposit and the price goes up and we have to repurchase it with the higher amount. ( not right)They deliver it and we pay the balance.The other is that we forfeit our $3000.00, unfortunately that isn't happening. We could use that as were in a middle of evicting tenants that owe us thousands as not paying rent while living there as refusing to leave. Were working and had to pay the courts, sheriffs etc. a lot of money to do this process.We Had asked, if we could get a cheaper one and they said those are the ************ we have. We didn't realize that we couldn't cancel it as didn't see on the form. I can't believe that as it wasn't made. I want it but unfortunately, were in a financial spot where we could loose our house and behind in bills due to all of the situation. I just want my deposit back of $ $3000.00 so we can pay our bills. IBusiness response

Hello,
The spa has been in stock and sitting in our warehouse since January. On the sales agreement the cancellation policy is clearly stated per the Wisconsin State Law. All sales are final and down payments are not refundable. If you do not want to accept the delivery of the spa, we need to know, as I cannot continue to store it indefinitely. We will keep your deposit on file to use towards the purchase of a spa at a later date, and whatever the price is at the time.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I just received your BBB complaint and responded to it. I have attached a copy of your sales agreement and have highlighted the parts about cancellation. I do apologize for any problems you are going through in your life, but we must maintain our policy and keep it the same all of the time, as it is the only ethical way to do it, and keep it fair. We also cannot afford to lose money, which we would.
With that being said, your spa has been sitting in our warehouse since January. I need to know if you are going to take it or not, as it is not fair to have me sit and store it indefinitely. If you do not want to take delivery, and cancel, your down payment is not refundable. I will keep it on file and you could use the down payment towards the purchase of a spa at a later date by contacting me directly. It would have to be at whatever price the spas are at the time of sale, I think that is understandable.
I will call you again, and text you right now. I need to know how you want to proceed by Friday. If I do not hear from you by Friday, I will put the sales agreement to cancel and release the spa. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

I had responded to him and told them as they can't help us then to send it back as were unable to do anything financially now.We were told that we only need to put a thousand dollars down we put the $3000.00 down as we were going to but it. If the sale person would of told us no cancellation etc then I would of paid for it in full.
He never told us none of that and I'm at fault for not reading it before my husband had signed it.
I understand that it says no refund but we paid over that and we should get the extra money back. I even asked if we could get a smaller one that is lower in price and we were told no it has to be the same one with a price increase. I understand that thing's going up but if per contract then we should get the same one for balance owed as they are keeping our deposit. I had asked how long will they keep our deposit and never had responded to my email to his responds.
Were not trying to be difficult but we put a lot of money down that we could use to help with our situation. I hope after we get through this difficult time that we could buy it later in year as I really want and need for my health.

We didn't plan on all of these expected situation losing my job with covid and a tenant not paying thousands in rent.

I purchased a swim spa in March 2021. I paid $11,000 down and was told I would have my swim spa in approximately ********************************** September. When it didnt come and since I paid $11,000 I called for a status. I was told it was in production and it would be done in 2 weeks. Since then Ive called every month and continue to be told it will be done in 2 weeks. In December Masterspa called me and told me I would have my swim spa the 2nd week in December. That never happened nor did they call to tell me things have changed. I called them again 2/5/22 and the guy said it wont be done in production until March.Im angry because they have $11,000 of my money. Its almost a year and I still dont have my product. I would like to be released of my contract. I no longer want it. They dont call me to keep me informed and they have lied every time I call regarding where its at in production.I cant imagine how they can get away with taking that kind of money and then leaving their customer in the dark. I want my $11,000 back and they can keep their swim spa.Business response

Due to supply chain issues, production has experienced unforeseen delays through the productions process. The possibility of this was explained at the time of the sale. I looked at the notes in the system, and the last time they spoke with someone, they were informed that the spa was in production and would be done. I just checked the status now, and the spa has been completed and we will have to bring the spa in. We have to bring in all spas once they are done. There is no cancellations or refunds. Once the spa arrives, they will be contacted for delivery.
