I ordered a mattress on August 23, 2024 and told the mattress would be delivered in 2 weeks. Then I recieved a call that the mattress was on back order and would be 2 more weeks. This happened 3 more times. I was finally was told the mattress was discontinued and I might get it in November. I contacted my sales person and was told to come pick out a different mattress, which I did. As I was leaving the store I was told the orginal mattress would be delivered October 28th. I recieved a call that the mattress would not be available and they already told me this. I called the store again and on the 25th I recieved the second mattress which was NOT the mattress I picked as a replacment. I called 5 times to the store and customer service and they will not return the mattress eventhough it is the wrong mattress. ******** customer service, horrible products, please do not purchase from ******* Florida ******.Review from Katie S

I am writing to share my recent experience with Ashley Furniture. My partner and I purchased couple of pieces for our new home as well as a bedroom set. When we purchased (8.31.24), we were told that everything, except the headboard and frame would be delivered on 9.24.24. We were told the bed frame and headboard would be delivered 10.22.24. We never received a call or confirmation about delivery on the 24th. When the 24th came, I called customer service, that only a handful of our pieces were available for delivery, that delivery was not scheduled, and that none of our bedroom furniture was available now - that it wouldn't get to the distribution center until October 10. We scheduled the furniture that was available and received it three days later. I emailed a complaint on 9/24, and over a month later - still have not heard back from an actual human. The next day I received a TEXT to schedule the 2nd fulfillment of my order - which I scheduled for today, 10/22 - I received confirmation as soon as I scheduled it. I then received another text on October 17th, to confirm that I had a delivery for today, 10/22. However, I didn't receive a timeframe on when to expect the delivery, as I had in September, so I again called customer service just to find out that NONE of our furniture has arrived at the distribution center, and the automated text service cannot schedule delivery - even though it clearly had - it was at that point I knew I was done with Ashley furniture. I asked to cancel the order - was asked if I would consider keeping the order with a discount of $470 dollars - to which I replied, I would only keep the order if we were offered half off or more - and a discount of $470 felt like a slap in the face. Thankfully, the cancel request was approved - which is the ONLY reason I am even giving one star. This company and their way of handling their business is atrocious - I will NEVER recommend or purchase there EVER AGAIN.Review from Cheryl M

I am writing to share my recent experience at your ****** store, which has left me quite disappointed. I spent 5 hours in the store looking for a couch that was in stock and could be delivered by a specific date, as I had family coming to visit. After checking 5 couches that wouldn’t make it in time, the staff finally showed me one that was in stock and could be delivered in three days. I decided to purchase the $2,000 couch, a significant investment, primarily due to the promised delivery date. Unfortunately, the delivery date was changed four times, pushing it past my deadline. To make matters worse, I received different delivery dates from three different managers. The last manager I spoke with, Eddy, had an unprofessional attitude and even belittled me, questioning if I knew what day the 13th was. This was the final straw, and I decided to cancel the entire order. As a loyal customer of Ashley Furniture, this experience has made me reconsider future purchases. I feel misled just to make a sale. I have a house to furnish and was starting with a couch, hoping to buy more, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your customer service and delivery processes. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Review from Jessica H

Stay as far away from this place as possible!!! I am leaving this review after having the same experience with this store twice already! First time bought a couch that took like 6 weeks to get delivered and customer service is horrible! Went in last month and they assured us that our experience was because of COVID and it wouldn’t happen again. We bought a bedroom suite paid in full. They said all items were in stock but rails. 2 weeks later delivery cancelled because NONE of the items were in stock. Delivery rescheduled for 7 days out. Received a text confirmation of delivery day before for 2-5pm. Made arrangements for time off work to be there and nobody called me or showed up! Called customer service again and was told items weren’t in and I had to reschedule another 7 to 10 days out! It had been a month by this point and we were sleeping in the floor. I said no I want a refund. Received email confirmation of refund and was told that would take up to 10 business days to process. We are past 10 days today and still no refund. You can’t get anyone at the store on the phone. Sales lady gave me her personal cell number and never returned my call. They lie and lie to make a sale then scam you. I will post this on every site and social media they are on and am filling a complaint against them. They bait and switch people. I contacted the numbers for your company and they told me my refund was never processed!!! Even though I have a confirmation email from Sara **** on September 18th that it was. I spoke with Jessica on text message and Kelly on the phone today who say there is nothing they can do. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in 42 years!Review from Whitney W

Ashley furniture is a terrible company. Their furniture is cheap and not worth it. And dont even bother with the 5 year extended warranty they offer at check out because they DO NOT fulfill this. I sent proof of purchase of my warranty from their own website, and they told me there is no record of it and they only offer a 1 year warranty. Bull crap! Also, I purchased an ottoman with my couch as well and it had the same delivery date as my couch, yet when it never showed with my couch, they said it was on back order and that it would have said it at checkout, which it did not. It came a year later. Do not waste your time or your money with this company. Only giving a 1 star because its required. But this is definitely a 0 star review!!Review from Jose A

While buying: Manager and sales rep were the nicest (as anyone trying to make a sale) they assured us that ashley only sales the most authentic material sofas, and furniture overall. They even tried to talk bad about other business like *********** (Big red flag in a business - but either way we trusted them since they seemed genuine). Turns out we end up picking some couches we liked and the manager told us we have 5 year warranty. Fast forward to about a year and a half later: The couch is peeling and it is clear that the material is not authentic leather since we previously had purchased couches from another store and they had lasted us about 7 years and they did not even look as bad as these new ones from Ashley Furniture that only have a little over a year. We tried to go in-store and talk with the manager and these were his exact words "I can't do anything for you." We asked about the warranty he had promised us and he said " I don't know." Words can't describe how condescending and careless he was in person though. We literally felt so betrayed since he is of Hispanic ethnicity just like me, and just for the sake of making more profit he treats his own people like nothing. Before I left, I told him " So you are just gonna stomp on us like that and act like nothing and steal our money?" He just nodded and we left. My daughter ordered a couch, an ottoman, and a chair in May 2024, from Ashley Furniture through their website. On July 2, it was delivered. However, the ottoman was stained, and the couch was in the wrong color. I called Ashley, and they said they would schedule someone to come and clean the ottoman and they would reorder the couch. (They did research it and found that it was, in fact, THEIR error. The couch had been incorrectly tagged.) They did compensate us 10% of the cost of the order for the inconvenience. Fast forward almost 2 months and at this time the ottoman still has not been cleaned and the couch has not been delivered. We have spent countless hours on the phone, and we have spoken to multiple departments within the company. We finally have both scheduled for mid-September, more than two months after the original delivery date. All I keep hearing is that they are sorry, but there is nothing more they can do for us. Even given that this was their error, they are not making this a priority to correct the situation. I wish I didn't have to give them 1 star as they do not even deserve that. I caution anyone who is looking to buy from this company. Their customer service, their follow through, and their delivery is absolutely terrible.
