This company is a complete joke with zero customer service. I ordered a 4 pack of brackets that totaled 100$s for a deer blind build. My package arrived and only one bracket was in the box. I was suppose to go to my land and set up the deer blind the next day. I called their customer service and they told me they had to complete an investigation before they could send me the remaining 3 brackets I already paid for! I than spoke to a supervisor who assured me my brackets would be sent out the next day and I’d receive tracking info. 3 days later and I’ve received no tracking information. I called and spoke to another guy in the customer service department and he was basically zero help and can give me zero information on where MY remaining brackets are. This has caused me to delay my trip up north to set up the blind 3 times now. This place doesn’t give a **** about their customers once they have your money. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.Review from Missy M

Blain's Farm & Fleet rewards program is TERRIBLE. I sign up for rewards programs because money is tight. Every dollar counts. You have to spend $2,500.00 to earn a $25 gift card. I understand that they don't even have to give anything back. I'm not trying to get something for nothing. I think it's wild that my local gas station has a better rewards program. I only have to spend $250.00 to earn $25 with them. Blain's program does not make me feel like I'm being acknowledged as a loyal & valued customer.Blain's Farm & Fleet Response

We also have Reward Members only shop nights where you receive 10% off your total purchase. I would have scored it 1/2 but wouldn’t allow me. Blain’s Farm and Fleet- poor management and auto workers. The auto depts in Loves park and Belvidere are a joke. I made both appts to have brakes fixed only to have them tell me that it was an appt to check what is wrong with my car and to come back another day. They blamed it on the person who made the appt. For me. These appts were made 1 day apart . There’s absolutely no critical thinking. We wound of return to the first Blain’s but the manager was so nasty. My brakes were replaced by Blain’s one year ago and supposedly under warranty but they said sorry those only applies for “ centric” brakes. I don’t recall given a choice on what brand of brakes they were putting on. I’m sure it’s a way for them not to cover them . My family used to love going to their auto place and have been for many years but not anymore . It’s sad to say that store management leads to poor workers and eventually a down fall of a great company. BTW. Phone number given to contact their headquarter is disconnected. We are sorry to hear that the customer had a poor experience. I checked with the Auto Service Regional manager and after he researched the issue, this is what he found out. The warranty on the brake pads covers only defects in materials. The brake pads are not the point of failure. The brake caliper is what failed causing the pads to wear and heat up the rotors due to them sticking. Due to another part failing, we would not be able to warranty the brake pads and rotors. This also would not fall under a labor warranty as if something was done incorrectly, it would have presented itself well before ***** miles and 14 months.Review from Tiffany L

I bought a Farm and Fleet Platinum battery with a 3 year replacement warranty. That battery lasted about 9 months, I was able to return it for a replacement. That battery barely lasted 7 months. When I tried to return that battery the staff was less than professional and I was flatly refused a replacement. The 2nd battery was well within the 3 year free replacement warranty. I was never given any other option for a replacement. I had to pay $300 for a new battery out of my pocket. I then wrote a complaint to Farm and Fleet stating what happened. I was told a manager had to make the call about the battery replacement, that was an option that the person at the desk never gave or told me about. Then the customer service person offered me a $30 gift card as compensation. I had to eat a $300 plus dollar battery replacement cost and $30 was supposed to make me feel better.Blain's Farm & Fleet Response

Still not impressed. I contacted the Farm and Fleet customer ********************** **** and was told I would receive a refund. I was never asked about what item I had or how much it cost. I received a refund for roughly half the value of the battery and a $30 gift card. I guess it is better than nothing, i never received an apology for the way i was talked to on my original visit. The supervisor that handled the transaction was great and the young lady working the other counter was friendly. The young man who originally turned down my request for a refund was also there. When the supervisor left the immediate are he threw the plastic binders with the customers paperwork at his coworkers and made some less than professional comments. I have been a loyal customer for close to 40 years and I will never return.Blain's Farm & Fleet Response

Our apologies, when we first looked into this, it was mentioned that the platinum battery that was having the issue. We see that it is the platinum battery. Please return to the store and we will give you the remainder of the refund. Also, thank you for the feedback on our associate. Bought a platinum battery for my truck. It came with a 3 year warranty. On the second year it stopped working in the northern ******** winter. I took it in for warranty and they told me the battery froze so the warranty is void. Ive never heard of this practice before and after I went somewhere else to buy a battery I asked them about the warranty if the battery froze. They laughed and asked if I was serious. I'm sorry to hear you are having troubles with your battery. Upon purchase of your battery and on our website, we state the following: 'A frozen battery is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Car batteries contain a mixture of sulfuric acid and distilled water.'Review from Steve L

Purchased a cord reel on October 5 from the ********* store which showed a quantity of 1. Within an hour I received an email that it was out of stock and the order had been cancelled. At the time I understood that can happen so I let the situation go. Fast forward to today and I received the ad that the item is on sale again/still so I went to the online ordering and it showed 1 available in ********* so I ordered it. Within about a half hour I received an email that the order was cancelled due to it being out of stock in *********. This time I call the online ordering number to question how I could have 2 exact same orders cancelled due to zero stock in the same store. The *** explained that it must be out of stock and when it shows 1 he usually doesn't believe that it's actually in stock. So I asked to speak to the supervisor who basically said "Yeah, that happens & sometimes it's a glitch & doesn't get updated for awhile." As I'm talking to her I refreshed the ordering screen & magically the quantity goes from 1 to OUT OF STOCK. When I brought up the question of bait & switch she quickly defended the situation & said it wasn't bait & switch-- just a system error. Keep in mind that on the order screen where it says OUT OF STOCK it is showing all sorts of other, higher priced items. No offer to ship the item from a store that did have stock (which there were many) to ********* and no offer to ship free of charge. Like I said, if it had happened once I understand but happening again (and who knows how many other customers were duped into purchasing a higher priced suggested item) makes you question their integrity.Blain's Farm & Fleet Response

This particular item is also a clearance item, which means inventory is very limited. Although every attempt is made to have an accurate inventory count at all times, there are times when the inventory count for the online items may be different than what is actually on the floor. In addition, in store shoppers have an affect on the inventory count as they are actively shopping while the order is also being placed on line.Please be assured we never captured funds from your order, and as soon as the online order was canceled, the system reversed the initial authorization, which does take a few days to fall off your purchasing account.I would be happy to offer to waive the shipping costs for this item if you would like to place an order to ship to your home. ONLINE PURCHASE HORRID!I ordered a chainsaw online from Blain Farm & Fleet Chippewa, which the page stated had the item in stock. After a period of time, I received an email that the item was cancelled. I called them and they stated they had none on hand and the web page was wrong. I asked how long I would have to wait for the purchase to be credited back to my card, and was told if I didn't receive it within 3-days, to contact them.I needed this chainsaw, and am not going to place another charge on my card until this is corrected. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Small things are important, and how they fix those problems determine a company's care for their customer.Do not trust their webpage or anything you have been told or promised.
