      My 3rd purchase from kens, not close to home but usually because of availability and price, not sure what has changed, long story short after new 45k boat with damage stains and grease all over it (did not see it till after they had my money) was told it was priced according and I could have my money back, (10 hours drive time invested) first time Out less than a hour on it, dies and leaves me stranded in middle of lake, TECH ERROR WHEN INSTALLING FUEL LINE FELL OFF ENGINE (MABY BEST IF IT WOULD HAVE BURNED) guessing I will get the same response tomorrow when I ask them to do anything about it STAY AWAY GETTING TO BIG TO CARE ABOUT THE LITTLE GUY

      I would like to take this time to submit this very positive feedback for my customer review of our recent boat purchase from Ken's Sports ********, ** *****. On our initial search for our boat, we came across the Web sight for Kens. sports, then contacted them for a possible boat purchase. From the very beginning of of our interaction with Ken's Sports, I found them to be exceedingly helpful, and eager to answer any/all questions that we had. The efficiency entire team was impressive, straight forward and without a hint of sales pressure. My call was directed to their sales staff, whereupon we began to work with a very knowledgeable sales person, I can only say that that I was impressed with the ease, and honesty of the sales staff, and the administration staff. As for our experience, I can only say that I would certainly recommend Ken's Sports ********, ** ***** to be added to a contact list when shopping for outdoor sports type vehicles. *** *

      I ordered what was supposed to be a new 4 blade Revolution 4 prop for our boat for $809. The prop came in yesterday and noticed it has chips on the stainless blades. I called and talked to Bill who assured me the prop should function just fine. I told him it wasn’t so much being worried about the performance as it was paying full price for what appeared to be at best a poorly manufactured prop or worse a poorly refurbished, used prop. It looks like it had been damaged and somebody attempted to refurbish it, but did a terrible job. He told me to go run it to see and he would have Cody reach out today about options or having a return label sent to me. I called back today only to have Cody tell me they couldn’t return it because it had been water tested even though Bill instructed me to do so. Now they’re telling me Bill never said that. It feels like a ploy just to try to shut down the return option. Whatever the case, buyer beware when using Ken’s Sports, Inc. or boatpropellerwarehouse.com. I recommend avoiding them unless you’re okay with getting damaged or refurbished props for full price.

      Regarding the comments made by ***************************. Kens Sports (Boat Propeller Warehouse) is the worlds largest seller of genuine ************** Propellers. Every prop that we sell is brand new, in a sealed box, directly from the manufacturer. We do not sell used or refurbished propellers.Our return policy states; We do not accept returns or exchanges for any used/tested propellers. Once a propeller has been installed it may not longer be returned/exchanged. No exceptions. It is because of this return policy that I can say with full confidence that **************** did not receive a used or refurbished propeller as he stated.When **************** had called and stated that he had an issue with the propeller we assured him that it was a new propeller, just as every prop that we sell is. I was in the process of telling **************** that if he would prefer to return the prop in favor of another of the same make/model he may. However, before I could finish my sentence **************** interrupted me to tell me that he had already disputed the credit card payment for the propeller and intended on keeping it for free.Once the customer had already indicated that he had disputed the payment and his intent to keep the product for free there was no reason to proceed with sending the customer additional product to replace the item.

      Whatever the reason, the product was damaged when received. Their employee instructed me to go test the item because he was sure it would perform just fine. Now, I recognize it was part of their scheme to create a reason not to return the item. I dont want anything for free, but I do expect to get what I pay for. The issue I have is paying full price for a damaged or possibly a refurbished. I gave them the option of sending me a prop in new condition, discounting my damaged/refurbished prop or returning this one so I can purchase one from a reputable company that will provide what I paid for. Other people have had similar examples so it seems to be a pattern with this company. Buyer beware.

      I am giving Ken's Sports, Inc. a one star rating only because I have to. In 2019 I purchased a 115 HO Etech Evinrude Outboard motor. Took my boat to Florida, with my new motor that had only 27 hours on it as well as a full warranty of 5 years, and the motor left me stranded twice in the ocean. After the second time, I lost all confidence in the motor, so I loaded my boat and was without a boat for the majority of my vacation. On my return to Wisconsin, I promptly took my boat/motor to Ken's Sports to be evaluated and hopefully find out what the problem was. After approximately 2 and half weeks, I called them to see where they were at with my motor issue, and was told that it was done and I should come and get it. When I went to pick up my boat/motor, I was told that they were not able to duplicate the problem and could not find anything wrong. I was handed a bill in the amount of $355 for a motor under FULL WARRANTY, and for a problem they could not find. I argued regarding a bill that I wasn't expecting since it is under warranty. I was told "It is, what it is", and that I couldn't take my boat/motor from the premises until I paid the bill. I would strongly recommend finding a different dealership to purchase anything from.
