In mid April 2023 I contacted Cowgill Dental about a crown that had just broken off. I had an evaluation on 4/13/23 and the dentist (who is no longer there) confidently assured me it was a normal repair and quoted me approximately $1,275, which included an insurance payment of $587.50 but the balance out of pocket for me came to &******. On 4/20/23 I had the work done and paid my part in full. On approximately Sept. 20th, my crown broke off while I was eating a soft muffin (no nuts or hard food). I called Cowgill who had me come into the office within a few days. The new dentist looked at my tooth and assured me it would be repaired at no charge, that she needed to schedule it with the office manager and would call me back. Two weeks later (after no communication), I called Cowgill and they informed me that they would not honor their work and would not fix it without an additional $1,275, which would all come out of my pocket. At that time, they informed me that the previous repair was risky and not advised, which is something they never previously disclosed to me. They will not fix the tooth and will not work with us. I am out a great deal of money and now need to have my tooth fixed again, or provided another option, all at my expense.
