June 9th 2023 I located a yellow flag in my yard that was placed by a company called Weed Man. immediately contacted the company. Instead of going to my neighbors yard they wrongly came in to my yard and sprayed my flowers, grass and organic garden bed, by spraying a Chemical called Cheetah Pro. It killed several of my plants. June 9 the sent out the workers ***** and **** who wrongly came into my yard. ***** admitted to spraying the lawn but **** didn't admit to any wrong doing . The explanation was my house looked familiar. To move forward they sent out ******************************* to meet with and take pictures of the yard. They also sent out ********************** several weeks after to take more pictures which i explained to him i pulled out all the dead growth from them sprayingI. had to forward the receipts that from this summer and pictures of how my yard looked in the past *******. My argument with them is that they killed 8 years of my sunflowers, cosmos and bachelor buttons and sprayed toxins and trespassed. Even though i have some of the flowers blooming it's definitely not to the capacity of the previous years due to the spraying and killing several flowers that where just starting to grow since it was early June.July 7 was the last time ********************* came to my home to meet with me to take more pictures which again i explained to him that i already cleaned out the garden of all the dead flowers they sprayed. At that meeting he told me that the company Weed man had to report this incident of wrongly spraying my yard to The ********************** of ********. With that information I followed up with the ********************** of ******** and filed a report. Contact names from the *********************** of ******** are ********************* who came to home home to interview me and ************************* . My last communication with ********************* and ******************************* was July 24 stating that it's been over 2 weeks since me meet on July 7th and neither one has followed up with me regarding the accountability for my reimbursement. My last conversation with ********************* was on July 24 and his response was that I made thing more complicated by filing a report. My response to him was that you are the one who mentioned to me that you had to file a report so I took it upon myself to follow up with ********************** of ********. He also mentioned that he only killed 2 flowers which is not true. He also mentioned he would send a document with the amount Weed Man was wiling to be accountable for. I have not received or heard anything more from them My argument with the Weed Man wrongly sprayed my yard with toxins that I didn't consent for... and they contaminated my soil even though they mention it doesn't show up in the soil after a few days( My opinion is that I should make that judgement I have an organic garden...They didn't understand that It took several years for my flowers to reseed and fill up my yard. I was asking for a Reimbursement that they didn't agree on. Looking forward to hearing back,***********************

I am rejecting this response because: We never discussed that you would pay $200 for the damage or did I agree to that amount due to the damage Weed Man caused.
I did discuss several times to ***** and ***** the amount of $1000 would be appropriate for all the damage that Weed Man employees have caused  because they could not take the time to look at the number on my home..Instead I was told the house looked familiar ( 8 years of growing and reseeding my flowers have been destroyed  )

Hired the company to perform weed maintenance on my lawn. Told them about the front area that if they put down chemical too close and it rains it will run into my grass and kill the grass. They said they understood. Sure enough with all of the rain the chemical rinsed down and has killed my grass. At first all i asked was they repair it by replacing the area with sod. They sent someone out that started trying to make things up as solutions. First said it was because it was too hot, and all the rain. It has not exceeded 75 degrees at all this year and everyone elses grass is fine. Then he said it is because there is fertilizer and gave me his 3rd grade education reasoning when I stopped him and said, hey. I just dropped the fertilizer yesterday and can send you a video of it. It is not because of fertilizer as it was damaged prior. He then offered throwing some seed on an area where the soil now has chemical in it and just hope it works. I told them the only logical repair here is to resod it and treat the soil. They refused to do so and called back with some stupid watering plan. Which I will follow while I wait for samples to go to the local university, etc. My desired outcome is to refund services provided, and repair the damaged area by resodding the grass with the type of grass already there.

Hi *******, it is unfortunate that you're seeing this area of damage on your lawn - however, it is our professional opinion that this was not caused by our weed control treatments, which were provided within your landscaping beds. Initially, we diagnosed these areas with Leaf Spot disease prior to the damage becoming worse. While heat stress & moisture were discussed, these were not discussed as being the sole cause of the stressed areas - rather, these were discussed because they are conditions that play a role in causing Leaf Spot, which is a fungal turf disease. We did also discuss the fact that the application of fertilizer to these stressed areas (which you provided yourself, as we do not provide fertilizing services on your lawn) likely resulted in fertilizer burn. When turfgrass is under extreme stress due to a certain condition (which can include disease, insect infestation, severe drought, improper mowing practices, & more), it is often more susceptible to damage via over-fertilization. While we understand that rainfall did occur after our weed control treatment, the damage depicted on your lawn is not consistent with what we would see if weed control product had run off into the lawn. If runoff was the cause, the damage would be apparent immediately bordering the landscape bed areas. In the case of your lawn, these damaged areas appear further out from the landscape bed, with areas of turfgrass bordering the landscape beds remaining healthier & undamaged. Additionally, the product used for landscape bed weed control is a contact post-emergent, so runoff is not likely in the first place. While the damaged area is unfortunate, the best we can do when we see areas of turf disease is provide diagnosis, information & recommendations - we cannot take responsibility for damage caused by turf disease, nor can we take responsibility when this type of condition or damage is exacerbated by a homeowner applying their own products. Our Branch Manager did reach out in an attempt to discuss these details and to offer to set up a meeting on the lawn, however at that point you proceeded to cuss and hang up the phone. If you decide that you'd like to discuss these items further, please consider reaching out to us, we'd be happy to cover them with you.

I am rejecting this response because: I had another company come out and agree that it is damage from weed killer. Your professional opinion is incorrect.

      Sincerely,

I contacted Weed Man to inquire about services for my lawn a few months ago as I had seen their ad on ********* I spoke with **** and he wanted a credit card payment upfront. I told him I was not comfortable with that and that I wanted to see an invoice which he ended up emailing to me. After seeing it was legitimate, I called **** to pay over the phone with a credit card. I was told he was on the phone and would call me back. He never did. I ended up going with another lawn service company. Since then, I've received a couple of calls from the company saying that they were going to come out for service. I told them that I had not paid for service and to please adjust their records. Yesterday, a tech from Weed Man called me and said he was at my house to perform a service. I told him I had not signed up and to do not do the service. He recommended that I call the main number and straighten things out with them. I called this morning and explained the situation. They called me back this afternoon and told me that I was legally obligated to pay them and that if I didn't, they would send me to collections. They claimed to have my voice on record. I did not sign anything and I did not pay for any services. This seems very wrong to me.
