Date of transactions - Twice a week since 01/22/2024.The amount of money paid: $700+What the business committed to provide you? Hip hop dance lessons that are supposed to be a workout. It advertises elements of being able to freestyle. I don't get a workout from the classes and never even break a sweat. The classes are also so slow paced it's as if we are barely doing anything. I have filed complaints but nothing is done about it. The classes are actually getting worse. I am very frustrated, sad, and dissatisfied. What the nature of the dispute is? I would like them to provide what is advertised. It seems as if the classes don't do anything that is advertised.Whether or not the business had tried to resolve the problem? No. The instructor that I complained to told me that I'm not a good dancer and to stay in the easier lessons which are so boring and easy. I'm a new dancer so I'm very inexperienced but the classes are not as advertised at all.Account: My email: **************** The issue does involve advertising. On the Mindbody application, Dance Works advertises that we will develop our own sense of style and we will be able to freestyle. She does the opposite of that and 4 months later I can't freestyle at all. I feel like I have only slightly improved and most of the classes are so easy and boring that I'm not getting much out of it.Business response

Hello!
This is in response to the complaint listed above. **** began taking classes with us and offered some feedback online. We reached out to him, he thanked us for reaching out, and continued to take classes. He then offered another negative review. In the attachments you will see we reached out to him to offer him a refund for the remaining classes at that time. He never responded to our email. He then continued to purchase more classes (16 more) and continued to attend the same classes that he was not pleased with. The negative feedback continued. I reached out to him via phone to discuss his feedback but he has not returned my calls. I have attached the emails, his class attendance, and his account. At this point, we do not want **** to return to our studio and are attempting to offer him a refund for his remaining classes. He has continued to leave negative reviews, with some false information as well as we have received complaints from other customers about his demeanor. I will be calling our police department to let them know that he is no longer welcome at our studio. I am happy to answer any additional questions you may have as well as talk with **** about his feedback. We are always looking to grow and improve to be a more inclusive studio with various dance styles and abilities. Unfortunately we are not the right fit for him at this time.
Please excuse the delay in response. ******************* is no longer our Executive Director.
Thank you for your consideration,
