My wife and I applied for a rental townhouse in ******* *********. The man (manager), *******************, was helping me go through the application process. **** informed me that my application was pre-approved, and followed up with my past landlords, as well as my boss. He notified me everything was good to go and everything was all good, he just had to draft up a lease agreement and send the final application to his boss (one who ultimately makes the decision). I later then receive an email stating that my wife and I were declined, with 0 (none) explination, and said his boss just declined to rent to us. I called **** for an explanation as to why his boss declined us, and his response was "I'm sorry, he just said no, I can't give you a reason why he declined you." We simply want an explanation as to why we were declined, because now it seems like this is a personal reasoning behind why we did not get it.Business response

Hello: Per screenshot from prospective tenant application approved pending verifications. Once all verifications were received, IWM made the determination not to rent to the applicants. Thank You IWMCustomer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This response still does not tell me WHY I was denied. All I want is to know WHY I was declined. I feel that I am entitled to know and understand a specific reason as to why I was declined. Thank you.
