On 6/15 I purchased tires from this company. Online they have a buy 3 get 1 free coupon without any fine print. Upon calling to confirm my services the **** ***** assured me I was getting the buy 3 get 1 free discount plus a mail in rebate. Now to complete the mail in rebate he explained to me that my receipt would have to show 4 tires bought and not to worry that I would still get the promo price. After paying for my tires and inspecting the charges at home I realized something was not adding up. I was charged ******. based on the promo this means each tire should cost 687.93/3= ******. this cost is much higher than both the manufacturer MSRP and other tire shops in the area. I called to inquire about this cost on 6/16. He explained that these tires individually would normally cost $213 a piece however the price I received was a "package" and not the literal meaning of buy 3 get 1 free. He became very defensive explaining how little they make on tires and how I was getting such a deal on these over the phone and told me there was nothing he could do. That this was the lowest they can sell them or he would lose money. This promotion is misleading and false advertising. If the promo were taken literally my cost for the tires should have been their 213x3= 639 rather than ******. had I known that this was how the interpret thier promo I would not have done business with them. I lost atleast $48 in just the discrepancy of that promotion. Had I known that each tire was priced at 213 normally I would not have done business with them as these tires are much cheaper elsewhere. The original price per tire before discount was never verbally stated or written for me
